We stopped here for Sunday lunch just as it opened at Noon. Tocabe takes a Mexican fast-food approach to serving, with servers at the counter filling your plate with your choices from the assembled options. My wife and I both had the Indian Taco Plate with braised shredded bison, black beans, osage hominy, lettuce, cheese, mild tomato salsa and seed mix. Both the individual flavours and the overall combination of tastes were divine. The ingredients were fresh and high quality, and the cooking superb. I don't know how close this food is to what American Indians traditionally ate on the Colorado mountains and plains, but it is truly delicious. Not to be missed if you're in Denver.

The service is GREAT!! Very friendly staff, helpful and knowledgeable of their food items. Service was also fast. Great variety of ways to have your chicken--baked, fried, grilled. Nuggets and stripes plentiful as is their sandwich or salad. They have a different kind of fries--potato fries, different but good. They also allow you to choose healthy food such as a bowl of fresh fruit. They also have desserts. The lemon-aide is the BEST!! Love this place!! Go here, if you want chicken. Will be back and will recommend it to family and friends. Prices also not bad--reasonable.

I was hesitant to give this spot a try after reading some of the reviews. I'm glad I did. I would give it 4.5. The burger is thin, but so are freddy's and other popular trendy places. This is not a trendy place. It is old school, with the neon to prove it. While old, it was reasonably clean, 50's music playing and the staff was fairly friendly.

Everything looked real good. We enjoyed the getty casserole and the calzone. We used a bogo out of an entertainment book and will go back to enjoy great food at low prices.
