Things to do in Andover
User this branch regularly and the pizzas and sides are always really tasty with good fresh ingredients. Delivery times are usually good for the day and time off ordering. This was highlighted on a recent trip to Buxton where we had a delivery from the local branch and it was nowhere near as good as Andover. Will done to the Andover team

We had a chicken wrap which was quite nice and spicy, but not much salad. The chicken sandwich with cheese was dry and not tasty at all, didn't realise there was cheese in it. Service was friendly.

Was in dire need of a Chinese takaeaway on a Monday night. I am always scared of Monday night orders. Order taken by a person with un-good English but in the end we worked out what it is I wanted and it was all delivered by a lovely female driver dressed for parties on a hot evening, in 20 minutes. To cut to the chase ... I have been ordering from Oriental House since we first arrived ie 40 years ago through several iterations of owners and families. It's been up and down. Read my feedback. Tonight was the best I have ever had. So fresh and each dish spot on. I had a mixed curry with egg fried rice, kung po chilli chicken, beef in Cantonese sauce, a plain chow mein and it was all perfect. Thanks. :)

On moving to the area we were quite excited about trying our first chinese takeaway. We were so disappointed!Turns out, not all chinese takeaways have tasty food.I ordered beef in black bean sauce (thought it a safe option during pregnancy), which was LOADED with salt. I managed almost half of it, and threw the rest away (and I hate wasting food!). Possibly the worst I've ever had, and this is usually a go to dish for me when trialling an establishment. My husband had their equivalent of Kung Po chicken (can't remember what they called it - we threw the menu out), which is his favourite choice from a chinese takeaway; or at least has been previously; and he felt sick for the next day.Needless to say, we've not been brave enough to try any other chinese restaurants/takeaways in town since. The meat was of a poor quality, and didn't taste right. I know pregnancy can change your taste buds, but I got my husband to taste mine to check it wasn't just that. Not sure if it was old or just poor quality. My advice on eating here is... don't.

Ordered fish and chips online. Waited 50 mins for delivery did not arrive. Chased the restaurant and Manager was very, very rude and wanted to re deliver our order freezing cold. Asked for a refund as was told No. Would not use this restaurant again. Avoid at all costs. Very disappointed

Location is definitely a little tricky to find but there's a billboard on Bridge St just outside Bridge Street Mall that directs you so hope this info helps someone as we did a lap of the block before we found it!Ordered an extra large grilled Brookville sandwich and flavour wise it was tha bomb. Absolutely nothing healthy about it but life would be boring if you didnt live on the edge of a heart attack every once in a while

In need of an all day breakfast we found this on Trip Advisor and against our better judgement ignored the previous negative review as there were other positive ones listed and we were hungry. If only we had listened to our instincts. Dire. Dire Dire. Eventually found this revolting place at the back end of an industrial estate having been led a not especially merry dance around a run down estate. Not ones to judge by appearances though we braved the run down and bizarre motocross business exterior and ventured inside. The smell of rancid ancient endlessly recycled lard/oil/goodness knows what came out to greet us. It was the only welcome there was. A solitary depressed looking person sat looking dejected at an empty table. Too big a stretch to call him a diner, as he didn't appear to have braved that experience. Seemed related to the staff and there by default not choice. A cluster of downbeat individuals around the counter talked between themselves. No one spoke to us at all. This gave us a chance to seek out a menu although by this time the rank smell hung so heavy on our lungs it was hard to focus on the job in hand. But we ploughed on. Impossible to read the wall mounted menus obscured as they were by a plethora of A4 print outs announcing price rises. I looked to my husband, hovering on the doorstep (an epic trip hazard. If the smell didn't get you the step will) for his input but he was too busy trying to get some fresh air to return my enquiring gaze. I glanced into the kitchen and saw what can only be described as a very dispiriting scene. Grubby and manned by miserable young woman who looked frankly unsavoury. Not being unkind, it was just how it was. We left and I am not exaggerating when I say that we had to drive along with both windows fully open despite it being freezing cold for twenty minutes to clear the stench which clung to us for hours afterwards. Avoid! Good morning, thank you for taking the time to review us.We try very hard to achieve a good atmosphere and have a very large customer base so we are disappointed you feel this was not the case. May we ask what day you visited and what time.We are sorry you feel this way about our small cafe, the location is due to the business that we service,we are not a high street coffee shop,as for the estate being run down we strongly disagree statement as this site is extremely well maintained and the kept very tidy. The menu is also fully readable as only awaiting new menu boards and the price increase notice is there to advise, also small menus on all the tables. Our kitchen most certainly not grubby and our 5 star food hygiene rating would not be so,so we are unsure as to what this refers to,this comment is extremely unjustified. As for the smell i do not understand as to what this could have been, there is always going to be smells when cooking this cannot be stopped .RegardsToo Fast Too Filling
