This is our preferred take away f + c shop although the best local eat in place is Waldo's in Sutton on Sea.Wish list for this f + c shop:A) Wish it had seats to eat in.B) Wish they had skate regularly on the menu (only pot luck meaning it's only occasionally available). C) Wish the queuing system was simplified as people queue out of two doors and it gets awkward sometimes.What's good about this place:Pleasant helpful staff (see below though).Good fish and chips at fair prices. What's less than good:I wish that all the staff had a sunny disposition all of the time rather than there being one occasionally being a bit 'moany'. This aspect knocked this venue off its five stars.Can't be easy being upbeat in a hot f + c place all the time but all the other staff manage it so well done.

We bought a takeaway breakfast (and a couple of cream cakes) after staying in the adjacent Windmill Hotel.Excellent value (actually astonishingly good value!) and the staff were really friendly. You can eat in the cafe, or outside on the pavement tables - or of course have a takeaway like we did.This place is a little bit off the Market Square, but well worth finding.

2 Donors, one with chili, one mayo. Both good size for a medium kebab, plenty of meat, nice and hot. Friendly and good quick service. Would use again.
