We stopped at Hardees because I haven't seen one in ages and remember they used to have a good ham and cheese sandwhich. Today I ordered the mexican fiesta plate which included 2 tacos, nachos and a drink. The taco's were beef tacos, over cooked and over seasoned beef, with lettuce and an over abundance of cheese. No salsa was to be found The nacho's had "chicken" and refried beans and sour cream and some kind of fake cheese sauce. I couldn't eat them. The chips were tasteless and the rest was just plain terrible. My husband had some over done chicken sandwich which on the bright side was crisp. Seriously, the meals were terrible, it made Taco Bell or one of the other fast food chains seem like fine dining.

My wife wanted peppers on the side and the cashier said we were not allowed to do that, so she asked the cook to do it and he said no, the she asked to speak to the manager and he came over and was very cocky in his words and attitude and to.d us that jimmy John himself said no sides allowed. She said, they are too oily and I just want them on a napkin or in a plastic cup and they refused. When she said she was going to write corporate to say how they treated her they said "yes, please do". It was like they were happy that they were frustrating us, it was probably the most ridiculous episode I have ever had at a fast food restaurant. We go to other jimmy johns every week and get peppers on the side and have even got it there as we have passed through on the freeway. Certainly peppers are not that important, it was just how the manager and employees acted. Even the people behind us in line thought it was foolish of them. Not to mention, peppers are listed on the menu as a side. Needless to say, our friends or family will never go to that place again.

The food at this Subway was typical. Good, fresh, reasonable price. The wait staff smile and are very pleasant. But the decor is fun. We loved the old house they transformed in a restaurant. Warm and cozy. But the parking is cramped. Busy place. Loved it.

I was taking 4 grandchildren fishing and they decided that they were hungry. The rambunctious kids were met by a friendly staff. The kids played in the "Play Place" until the food arrived. They all ate the breakfast burritos, hash browns and orange juice. I even had to take the youngest one to the bathroom which was very clean. Easy to get in and out with plenty of parking.
