For the second time in a row this week, Jersey Mike's (once in Aiken and once in Martinez Georgia) has gotten my phone order wrong. I even had them repeat the order to ensure that it was correct. This time, they left off the requested Cherry Pepper Relish. The weekend staff was also rude when I asked for 4 fountain water cups (to take to my son's playing soccer in the 99 degree heat). They would only give 2. So much for having any sort of customer service to a regular customer. The Subway is miles closer to the park...

We have never been disappointed with the food here. The salads are big and there as always enough dressing. This is a good place for a ball team to meet after practice as long as toy don't want a beer to drink.

We picked up milkshakes last night after leaving a concert and did not stay to enjoy them there. Wish we had! The milkshakes we have gotten in the past have been delicious. I couldn't wait for my favorite banana milkshake and my husband ordered the dark chocolate. I did not get a banana shake--in fact I don't know what it was supposed to be--just overly sweet and no flavor--first thought it was vanilla but the vanilla taste was not there. My husband experienced the same thing with his dark chocolate. In the bottom of his there was some chocolate which was never incorporated into his shake. I didn't finish mine-- I refuse to consume calories on something that is not good. There was more whipped topping than actual milkshake in each of ours. The positive side is that our food did come out quickly and the car hop was friendly and we tipped her very well.

I had not been to Taco Bell in a while, but I went last week and it is still good. I like it better than the authentic Mexican restaurant. Taco Salads are on point(without rice!), but could use a little more lettuce, but that is just me. Tacos are good! Will be back soon!

I was reintroduced to SubStation II and I love the subs. Have a young man working there who gives great customer service. Very quick. Subs are good and fresh(i usually have the chicken or tuna salad)! Now my primary sub shop!

After a long morning of meetings, my colleagues and I stopped at Firehouse for lunch. I really like the Hook and Ladder (Ham and Turkey). The sandwich was excellent just like always. The warm seasoned ham and turkey is an great pairing. Placed on a soft wheat sub roll with crisp green it is just the best. You might be able to get a $5 foot long sub elsewhere but it wouldn't be half as good as the Firehouse Hook and Ladder.
