My kids go here a lot to study, enjoy decent café food (sandwiches, salads, burgers, milkshakes, excellent home-made deserts, including ice-cream). I have recommended this place to my students (Chinese and foreign) and all have enjoyed it. I just stopped by again for a little update and see that Mikal has upgraded his seating and offerings; new menu, and also selling that great 'Baked in China' home-made bread (all excellent). Brought a friend there for a cool gin and tonic on one of those hot days -- and we really liked it all. So... for something very nice, café setting near Xiada - give Prague café a try - it has gone from strength to strength. Look for Czech flag on 2nd floor over that big underground supermarket just opposite Xiada main gate; it is on the second floor and worth the trek.

Beeing a big fan of Italian food the visit at Unico was a very good experience.Nice and modern interior design with a win/cigar storage in the middle of the restaurant.Wein selection is large and the menu card is also fine.Misto deal case and a pizza can be recommended. And the manager (who is from Italy) walk around in the restaurant talking to the customers and make a nice atmosphere and also checking that the food and wine is as expected.

Gregâs has in my opinion some of the best western food in Xiamen. Wonderful food and wine selections for the most discriminating palette. And all prepared with incredible care and detail. Located in the heart of Xiamen across from the Marco Polo Hotel, Tutto Bene features authentic Italian cuisine in a relaxed, casual setting.
Food is good and fair prices. Lasagna could be better. Eaten there twice and would come back. However service could be much better. Male manager (I guess) is very very fast taking away plates and glasses before everyone is finished. This is stressful and bad service. But good food and 4 stars from me.

ODENWALDER Xiamen is the ideal place to have a great traditional German meal in a cozy atmosphere. Our dishes are rustically plated to ensure you real food without unnecessary "upsmück". We are famous for our German pork knuckle and in-house made sausages
We came here twice as the menu has many delicious dishes that you want to try. We had the German sausage with potato salad, sauerkraut and Spätzle. It was all very delicious! All with a sweet touch. In the second evening we had the Ray-bread with Hering, Zigeunerschnizel and the sour chicken soup. All very tasty. The atmosphere with the comfortable soundtrack is laid back.Dear Franziskaasia,Guests who are coming back to us is the best compliment we can get. We thank you a lot and look forward to your next visit. Your comment is highly appreciated.Cheers
