We went here for lunch today and chose a two course meal. The food we ate was fine, but the waitress service was somewhat lacking. Asked for mustard with our steak; it didnât materialise. The plates were not cleared after either the starter or main courses. No check back to the table during the main to ensure we were ok therefore couldnât order extra drinks, etc. We normally like to enjoy a coffee after our meal but we decided to go elsewhere for that. I wouldnât have minded but inside was barely 1/3rd full so it wasnât as if they were run off their feet. This is one of the reasons I donât like going to chain restaurants. Wonât recommend or return there especially as there is a big choice of places to eat in the immediate area.

Last night I had a pizza with a friend and asked for some chilli oil. It arrived in a small bowl with a spoon rather than a bottle and spout.The pizza was good, but the bill included a charge of £1 for chilli oil. I have NEVER been charged for chilli oil in any other restaurant. There was no charge for the extra parmesan my friend had.Just seemed so unnecessary and left a bad taste at the end of the meal.Dear Ian, thanks for your feedback. Sorry you feel you left with a bad taste in your mouth. Please allow me to explain that we buy fresh chillies, then olive oil goes in it to add flavour. The extra fresh chilli pot is a side or an item extra requested by the customer.

Excellent selection of all your finest Turkish dishes. Spacious and well decorated. Great friendly service. Highly recommend. On the hottest August BH it was a delight to walk in to this air conditioned restaurant. The mezze and mains were plentiful and as always their bread is far too tasty. Don't fill up on it! Was busy with families and large groups, high chairs for kids etc.. Highly recommend for a taste of Turkey. Meat was grilled to perfection.

4 of us had dinner here last night - and as always, the food was exccellent, the cocktails sublime and the service as outstanding.. We were given a great table and fabulously taken care of by the staff, and in particular the lovely Jay. Friends, family and I have been coming here on a fairly regular basis since it opened and we always have a superb time. In my opinion, one of the best destination eateries in the county. Be aware, if you are visiting on a weekend, expect a lively, buzzy ambience. In our case, it was perfect for a girls night out!Hi Luna, Thank you so much for your lovely review. This was my first visit to Lussmanns, I had heard a number of good things about the restaurant and I was not disappointed. The staff were welcoming and friendly and were very informative when it cam t selecting the wines. The food was well presented and excellent, it also was good to the that fish was sustainably sourced. I will be returning.Thank you for your review. My wife and I convinced my brother and sister-in-law to accompany us to this restaurant to try Turkish food for the first time. The lamb shank was out of this world. We had a starter plate with hummus and other flavors of spreads on fresh bread sticks. The vegetarian moussaka was also very good. The owners were most hospitable and helpful.

Visited on a Wednesday evening. Small restaurant with not many tables. Food came quickly and was very good but drinks orders were wrong twice. Not told about specials on the board. Waiter was struggling to understand what was being said. Overall really good but need to improve customer service.
