Dear guests, our restaurant is currently closed due to the winter break. The reopening is expected for 30th of March 2019. We are looking forward in seeing you again next year. Best regards from the Pillersee
We visited this place a couple of days ago, as we had passed a few times and though it looked absolutely beautiful as its in a lovely location. Unfortunately the service was very far from lovely or beautiful. We were not made to feel welcome at all, we were dealt with VERY off-handedly by the "waiter" - and I use the term very loosely indeed. Asked for a menu in English and were told very rudely that there wasn't one but "its all good". Ok, no problem, I can struggle through the menu enough to decide what's what. Then asked if I can pay by credit card, only to get a smirk and told no they don't accept them. Made to feel very small and unwelcome. I really do not like to slate anywhere, but, needless to say, we will not be returning if the opportunity ever arises and would definitely warn anyone off the place as well.

We (two adults and two children) have been to three different restaurants in these parts: this is our favorite. As the restaurant's name indicates you should try the trouts, but meat is also a good choice. Special meals for children. We had a nice evening and recommend the restaurant.

Good Gasthof with all kinds of real Tiroler food and real fresh trout from an aquarium. Next to the lake.
Fabulous steak restaurant. Arrived in Waidring on a sunday and this was the only place opened. It was cold and rainy and as soon as we walked in the place it was very warm and the the greeting was as warm. Very friendly with great service and wonderful fo
We were warmly welcomed to his establishment. We ordered pizza and a chicken, paprika, cheese dish. All were very good. Many of the places here Re smoking friendly. So that is my only negative. I smelt like smoke when we left.

This restaurant is located on top of the skiing area Steinplatte and belongs to Austria. There is also another restaurant directly opposite of this one and I think it belongs to Germany. We had a noodle soup and another soup accompanied by some drinks. The price was ok considering that you are in a skiing area. There were many tables and benches outside, there was also the possibility to sit inside. To get you food, you have to go inside and order it at the sveral stations. The room looks like a cantine, and so does the food. For example the noodle soup is done the following way: they put cooked noodles on your plate. Then they put the broth on it. Then the sausage. I mean that might be done like this in all other restaurants in this area, however here you see it. To this atmosphere contributes in addition the way of collecting the dishes. Two people are occupied all day with driving a table with wheels through the rows of benches and collecting the dishes and glasses of the people. Again, this might be done anywhere else but was odd somehow. However to sit outside when the sun is shining can't be beaten. Also the views are great. Toilets are clean as well.
Rexal and feel welcome - culinary Tyrolean cosiness in the Hotel Sendlhof. Whether itâs the snug parlours or a neat drink at the bar, weâve got it all covered in our restaurant. For sports and fun in winter, for nature and romance in summer. Enjoy Tyrolea
We went for a family dinner to the hotel restaurant. The design and ambience was great. Of course the ordered dishes had been of highest quality. I had the surf and turf as main dish. Truly top quality. On top the restaurant has a great wine menu and a very friendly service.

This is a little complex of restaurants up on the hillside overlooking the skiing. The furthest away one is a table service place, and that's where I went first. When my wife didn't follow me I clumped back to the self service place. Not there either. I finally found her in the modern facilities but old fashioned pine charm of the Grenzstadl bar, (Grenzstadl = little border town, Germany is just over that-a-way)Small people will have a job climbing up onto the benches - they have built them at bar height. And it's smoky - people still smoke in bars in this country, although plenty of individual pubs and especially restaurants are Nichtraucher. Not this one. The couple at the next table smoked a cigarette, and left, OK, irritating but tolerable. I drank my coffee and had an excellent hot salty Breze (that's a big pretzel to you). But although the smokers had gone, it was still smoky. In fact it was worse than it had been. Then we realized that the woman behind us was smoking too - and what's more she had closed the open window beside her! So go - but I strongly recommend that you sit outside.

We have always known about this place, often having lunch there, but this time we went for dinner for the first time.WOW! No other word to describe it. The food was brilliant, with amazing steaks and a mixed grill the like of which I have never eaten before. The service was excellent and the Gashof is in the traditional style. We just couldn't fault it and will certainly be there again on our next visit.

Great restaurant, and a good view skiing down a small road to get there, with a scary drop at the top. Recommend the gurstel, or the pancakes!!! Quality place, especially when the sun is out!!!
