This restaurant is located at the end of the narrow road near Vranovska priehrada (Vranov dam). Fortunately there are signs leading you there as our navi was not able to show us this place. Witty and willing man is the owner and waiter at the same time, he was nice in chatting with us, offering us a lot of meal. I chose a roasted duck not knowing that a big piece of meat (quarter of this big bird) is serve together with a big portion of cabbage and 4 dumplings (Czech: Knedle). Meat was perfectly done, very soft and tasty. My friend selected a fried cheese with french fries. As we had also a soup, we were hardly able to finish our meal. Moravian cakes came as a surprised free of charge after the main course. A lot of good food together with a nice water view is something worth returning for. Be careful, this spot is open only friday to sunday during April, as the season here is mainly during the summer.

TradiÄnà Äeská jÃdla, vcelku chutná, neÄekejte ale žádnou svÄtovou kuchyni. Jedná se o klasiku jako je vrabec se zelÃm nebo kynuté knedlÃky. Ceny normálnÃ, v průmÄru 100 korun za jÃdlo nenà dnes nic neobvyklého. Pro turisty je to ideálnà zastávka jak na jidlo tak na osvÄženÃ. Obsluha malinko neprofesionálnÃ.

Wir hatten uns die Tagessuppe empfehlen lassen und nach einem aktiven Tag, würden dir Energiespeicher perfekt gefüllt. Super Platz am See und eine sehr freundliche Bedienung, gerne wieder

Naprostá katastrofa!Již dlouho se mi nestalo, že bych byla nespokojená ve vÅ¡ech smÄrech.Obsluha niÄÃm zajimavá - ani Å¡patná, ani dobrá...jÃdlo naprostá pÅÃÅ¡ernost!KuÅecà maso nedopeÄené (kuÅecÃ!!!) a houby s pÃskem. Hranolky - no Å¡koda mluvit. Porce naprosto smÄÅ¡né a to nejsem žádný velký jedlÃk, bÄžnÄ nechávám po sobÄ zbytky jÃdla protože už je do sebe nezvládnu nacpat, ale tady jsem málem zoufalstvÃm lÃzala talÃÅ.NehledÄ na to, že Äekat 50 min. na jÃdlo je výsmÄch!Never more!

I was here with my boyfriend and we tried pre-ordered Malaysian degustation menu for 2-3 persons. It was delicious! It seems to be a small pension owned by some nice people. Lady from this pension prepared for us lunch that she have learned from her Malaysian friend and it was truly exotic food. In the end we ate little more than half from the common serving of the meal because it was too big. It's a shame that place like this is too far away from my current residence.

We were staying in the Zamecky hotel and had eaten there the previous night and so we'd try this place. There is a lovely, sheltered courtyard where decided to sit and the very pleasant waitress, who spoke some in English, was very friendly and efficient. The menu was mainly Czech with some German dishes. We had pork tenderloin with honey and mustard sauce, delicious. Inside looked clean and the toilets were spotless. Would certain recommend eating here.

Restaurant is situated in the center of Vranov nad Dyji with good view of the castle.Service was very good (there were not too many visitors), prices were acceptable, quality of drinks and food was also good.Friends have ordered grilled cheese (Hermelin) with grilled vegetables and liked it very much. My choice was worse - I have ordered grilled garlic chop (cesnekova kotleta), but meat was overcooked and quite dry... it's reason to give only 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise, I can recommend this restaurant, really pleasant place

Nice view on the lake, but it was only pro. The food was oversalted and fat. pizza is only in seasson (don't know which one)
