Another very good dinner in my favourite sea-food restaurant in Sarzana historical centre.I strongly suggest the raw fish as starter, going on with a specialties called "Smoked Octopus Carbonara", an amazing experience.Reservation is suggested as well because the places are limited and always booked.Very good for special and romantic dinners.

Food was great, it was maybe even amazing! Service was a let down to the chefs in the kitchen, the patrons inside, and the owner. They served our steak and burgers without the side orders or even the wine (had to repeatedly ask for a glass of wine), who wants to eat potatoes after a steak?? they didnât bother to clean away the plates....they forgot our dessert with the set menu and when I asked him he didnât believe me and had to go and âcheckâ....10 mins later he arrived to say the dessert options at which point we left! Guy at the door asked if everything was good, it wasnât, he put his head down and asked for the pin. Avoid unless you donât mind poor service. There is no menu. What there is, is a stupendous view toward Lerici and, I believe, Portovenere, from their perch high atop a hill. There is also a very friendly family of owners and staff. Several appetizers are brought to the table. Then there is a choice of pasta dishes. After that, there is an entree, wood grilled seafood, the specialty of the restaurant. Then dessert and limoncello or something else. We enjoyed a carafe of a house sparkling wine. It was a fun evening with a great view. Trust the waiter's recommendation. Fernando, and I may have his name wrong, perhaps it is Francisco, asked us to trust him. We did and we enjoyed many local specialties. It was a lot of food, so skip lunch if you decide to try this restaurant.

The atmospehere of the place is really calm and pleasant! The recomended food by the staff was absolutely magnificent! The price was perfect! The wine was amazing! The service was great! There was no english menu, yet the staff was really helpful and spoke very good english! We would definitely recommend it to anybody and we are going there tonight as well ! :) :)grazie tanto

I'm not vegan, not even vegetarian, but I tagged along with my cousin to this all-vegan restaurant in La Spezia. Well. I should have known that once Italians tried their hands at vegan cooking, they'd knock it out of the park. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, with real attention to translating local culinary specialities into vegan versions. The service was attentive and friendly and helpful. If you get a table outside on a hot evening, it's a quiet little lane. They serve alcohol but unlike many Italian restaurants they'll had an interesting offer for non-alcoholic soft drink, again, a local speciality using the slightly bitter Italian orange. I'll attach a photo so you know what to ask for. Also, there were gluten free options, none of which seemed any less delicious.

Excellent service by the person in charge. Got just one portion first course and one portion second course to share with my partner and was served 2 portions of the first course. Upon checking, realised that they have plated it evenly into 2 half portions knowing that we are sharing it rather than serving just one big plate of it. Was pleasantly surprised that the service went to this 5 star standard. Thumbs up!!! Oh yes of course the food was impeccable as well. Would definitely come back to this restaurant the next time.

Found this bar on TA and what a nice little find it turned out to be.We were greeted by a lovely gentleman whom let us choose our own seating.We ordered the Aperol Spritz which came with an awesome tasting aperitivo.Although we only stayed for one drink there were a variety of wines and craft beers available.This bar had a great atmosphere to chill and relax with the localsEasy to find down one of the many lanes in the town.The staff here know the importance of customer relationships.A must if you are in La Spezia

This was one of the very best meals I have ever had. I love food; I have many chefs as friends. But this, without a doubt, was incredible. The presentation is gorgeous. The creative flavor combinations will make you say "Wow!" And the flavors... I wish I could describe the pure joy! You can not miss this experience!

Excellent food, very good service and unbeatable price. I was particularly impressed by the "Antipasti della Terra": about 8 delicious appetizers of typical local food. I am glad the waiter warned me that it was quite a lot of food. In fact I ordered only the appetizers and was more than enough, all at just 13 Euro. The pasta my wife and kinds had was also very good. Book in advance and, in Summer, select the terrace, as it might be too warm inside near the fireplace to cook the meat.

We came for lunch and instead of the menu, we got a fixed lunch menu. It was DELICIOUS. A simple pasta with capers, anchovies and tomato sauce, and second some grilled melted cheese with bright red beautifully seasoned tomatoes. Very simple, but beautiful. Itâs a very authentic experience, itâs the Italian lunch and we really liked it. The price was fair, and coffee was really good. The place itself is very beautiful and the attention was good. A very kind waitress that spoke English :) Highly recommended, Iâd love to try the dinner menu as well!
