A chain restaurant that provides a good if not great product in sterile surroundings. Service is disinterested at best and the ambience seems meant to keep the staff happy. Unpleasant (to me) music playing too loudly. Seemed like something you would find on a motorway stop. Can't imagine going there for anything other than a takeaway pizza.

just went in for lunch on an Easter Saturday. Went for the cheapest option, the â¬13.50 menu. Three courses with a choice at each stage. Included a trout in lemon sauce and a hearty beef cheek stew. The à la carte selection looked very impressive too, though pricier. Friendly service, and a pot of rosé for â¬6 wrapped up an experience I will definitely repeat.Thank you very muchLe Chef Thomas

This restaurant was recommended to us as we love good fish but it is not easy to find. The restaurant does not look very appealing from outside but it has a modern and trendy interior with an open kitchen. They have a lunch menu starting at just 16⬠for the main course, 19⬠for main + dessert or starter + main or 22⬠for a 3 meal course. This is worth every Euro. The quality of the food is excellent and served in a very nice way. They give you time to enjoy lunch and are very friendly. They also have main course from the menu and the bouillabaisse is just awesome. They serve an excellent rosé wine at just 20⬠a bottle.I will definitely go back when around and would recommend this to everybody to do also!Dear DavyDS, We are glad to read your review and recommandation about Le Petit Phare! Our entire team do his best every day to satisfy the guests, cooking the best products at your view, with the opened kitchen area.We really appreciate to know that we will serve you back in the future!Best regards,The Managers

All dishes looked picture perfect and for the most part tasted equally good. The fried part of my starter was certainly the least dish on the day. The rest was just great. All in all easily the best of 7 restaurants I visited in Anduze ( and the others weren't bad at all ! ). The cafe gourmand was a true delight, will gladly return.

This restaurant is one of the few to choose from in Arles. It's on the main square, Place Henri Barbusse. The menus offered sounded reasonable and good, but the food was a great dissapointment. I chose a two course meal and paid a 4 Euro surcharge for the seafood main course. The seafood appetizer actually had more seafood than the main course and they described the main course as having "seches" plural when actually it had about 1/3 of a single cuttlefish. I also paid a premium for an AOC wine which was the least interesting wine I've ever tasted. I can't imagine why they have it on the menu, except that they get a good deal on it. The service was rather chaotic and the menu on a huge (6' tall) chalk board which they kept moving around the crowded restaurant. At one point one of the waiters knocked it over and whacked a customer on the head with it! Skip this place.

We had the menu @24,90 and were satisfied: good food, cooked to order, generous portions. Staff was friendly and efficient (donât know how it would have worked without French, there were no other tourists).Prices are very reasonable also for the wines. Choice is limited, but we were happy with the local Red.

Lovely outdoor terrace with authentic features. Lots of space between tables. Emphasis on local produce.

My family was visiting Ales during the festivities surrounding Bastille Day. While wandering along the river front, we saw this clean fashionable restaurant right in the middle of some very mundane fast food shops. Just for the heck of it we stopped to see the menu. We decided to take a chance and are we glad we did. The Formulae Menu for the evening was excellent and so perfectly cooked and presented. It was by far the best meal we've had in France this year. Coudos to the chef and the very bright and cheerful staff.

The seating is confortable, the staff are friendly and very proffessional. We dinned a la carte prices are reasonable and the quality exceed the expectations. The fillet de boeuf was perfect. We were the last group to leave around 23:30 never a hint of hurry up! All in all a place worth looking for.

The restaurant was chosen for a group, about 30 people, Harvest Festival lunch. It was a return visit by most of the group and we can understand why, when we actually found the restaurant. Despite what the address says the restaurant is actually on the Alès road at Les Tavernes not in the village of Ribaute les Tavernes which is a couple of kilometres away. The restaurant was modern in decoration and the staff pleasant. Warm tasty aperos were served on the terrace before the meal was served. All three courses were very tasty and attractively served but the time between each course was longer than one would have expected for a lunch time meal. We would certainly eat there again if we were in the area
