For what appears to be a lovely restaurant serving lots of decent grilled meats and fondues, the steak served for our fondue for three people was tasteless and extremely chewy. The only explanation that I can hazard a guess at is that it appears the cows have been reared on rubber bands, providing a similar consistency to their meat. On explaining this to the restaurant, they offered to provide a fresh new serving of equally chewy meat. To make things worse, the response to us mentioning this to them was patronising at best, with a brief lesson on how meat is aged and what that does to the meat. Weâve had great steaks in many places around the world and many parts of france but this had to be some of the worst we have tried.Had there been an offer of a complementary drink or possibly a reduction in the bill, then this could have all been forgiven with decent customer service. Nothing was offered unfortunately, not even an apology or goodbye as we left, hence our motivation to leave a review. A disappointing end to our holiday leaving us â¬120 lighter and still hungry.

We had previously used this bar as a meeting spot with friends before or after skiing. We decided to sample their Christmas dinner and what a fantastic spread. We also sampled the mountain burgers, raclette and steak - all very good and with great friendly service from Max and Solena who are really good hosts. They did not have espresso martinis on the cocktail menu so Max ordered in the key ingredients and two days later we sat on their terrace in the sunshine drinking truly great espresso martinis !!Would recommend for morning coffees, apres ski drinks and certainly the food. We will be back soonest....

Our restaurant offers a slate menu. A cuisine from here and elsewhere. Dishes according to the seasons, the desire and above all the pleasure. Regional products, home made cuisine, market fruits and vegetables, lunch menu, fondue and also végétariens dish
French Ski villages are not renowned for serving quality food, so it was a real pleasure to come across The Soul Kitchen in Les Deux Alpes. This restaurant is a quantum leap away from the low grade, chips, burger or pizza type of restaurant which abound in the village. The menu here is 70% vegetarian, 30% meat/fish, making it an ideal restaurant for current times when many people are cutting down on meat, or like ourselves, may be dining as part of a mixed group of vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Furthermore, this is proper, imaginitively created vegetarian food, rather than just pasta with grated cheese on topTypical dishes which our group ordered were starters of soup, and vegetable samosas and mains of vegetarian ravioli, beef cheek and mushroom and vegetable pie.Whatever your taste, you will find something here, despite the fact the menu is short (but changes daily). This is a small family run restaurant, with excellent service, and friendly proprietors. Without a doubt, the best restaurant we ate in in Les Deux Alpes, and highly recommended.

Discover a welcoming, peaceful atmosphere in which to enjoy traditional homemade cuisine using fresh produce; mountain specialities, meat and fresh fish. During the winter, the restaurant is open every day from 12 noon to midnight non-stop! We are closed
My wife and I had dinner at Casa Nostra during a recent skiing holiday to Les 2 Alpes. The restaurant and bar both look very contemporary with a luxury lodge feel. The menu and wine selection were very good and the waiter was accommodating with my poor French and spoke English well.I left feeling a little underwhelmed however. I had a steak from the specials and found it over cooked and under seasoned. My wifeâs steak (not on the specials) was excellent, hence the mixed review. The sauces were very good. The hip hop they had on seemed slightly out of place for the look and feel they were going for and detracted from the meal.I would recommend Casa Nostra for dinner if you were passing, though wouldnât go for a special occasion.

After having lots of cheese and potatoes for a few days, you just want something a bit different - and Alisier is your answer! The duck Margret is very good, and so is the scallops/prawn, the prawn bisque is divine. For dessert the French toast is unmissable, the creme brûlée is so-so, I didnât particularly like the alcoholic creame brulee.

Wonderful valentines dinner. Reasonable price for a michelin star restaurant, and very good wine list. Food was very good and service was very attentive, really canât fault it. Only slight thing would be that I found the duck Margret a bit chewy/tough when I expected it to be more soft but that maybe just a personal taste? All in all a wonderful meal, thank you for a great experience - great to try something different after having cheese fondue / raclette most other nights.
