Excellent dining on the terrace a few meters away from the lake of Toftasjön. I had fish when I came here. They serve wine by the glass. Good local and ecological food.Parking available. For guests without car catch the bus number 5 from Växjö direction Sandsbro at the bus stop "Resecentrum" or "Stortorget" in the center of Växjö and get off at the stop "Lenhovdavägen" and then walk on Lehnhovdavägen along the lake until you come to the restaurant. The bus trip takes 20 minutes and the walk around 10-15 minutes.

Wallenbergare here was a great choice, tender meat (veal), excellent potato mash- and excellent service. The atmosphere is very nice although always crowded and a little crammed- space is limited.

I was staying at the Elite Stadshotellet Hotel. It rained one day, and I decided to pop in here for dinner. It turned out to be a good choice. You need to order at the bar counter, but it is quite easy as the menu is in Swedish and English. I had Hake (fish) and a glass of local beer. I did not feel lonely as a solo traveler from the US. The Elite hotel's wifi works very well in the Bishops Arms. It was a great plus - I did not find free wifi's in Vaxjo restaurants otherwise.

We visited PM, voted best cafe in Sweden 2014, with high expectations. They were to a large extent met. Sandwich with shrimps, 119 SEK, excellent taste and large enough. The coffee cake, was the best ever tasted. Lemon merengue pie, sweet and sour to perfection. The cinnamon buns, though, quite dry and uninspiring.

Must say, that the pizza was top drawer from dough to toppings. No shortcuts, basically like being in Italy. Maybe should have been five stars, but the interior could need some character and charm - to much swedish lunch time rush functionality for my taste.Nice service as well.

Business dinner turned out to be a great success. Great service, atmosphere and food. The angus meat was really great. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Been travelling all day from Copenhagen so needed a good basic wholesome gut filling meal. Massimo did the trick. We ordered delicious garlic bread with dipping sauce. We ordered a pasta dish with seafood and another with a lefty of chicken. Food was very good and filling. Prices are in line with restaurants in the area. Service was also very good. I would heartily recommend this place.

Overall it is a cute place but expensive for what it offers. The food isn't something special. The staff is friendly and the variety of drinks quite wide!

Just eaten what probably is the best dinner Iâve ever had. There was only one course I didnât find spectacular. It was still great, it just wasnât *more* than expected. The dinner took 5 hours and still there wasnât a feeling of being ignored. The full menu just required that much time to really enjoy it. I fully recommend a visit to PM & Vänner.
