I ordered Irish stew and a Guinness. Could not have been more delighted with both.Great atmosphere. Comfortable seating.Don't agree with small children running around. A pub is a pub for adults. Families can go to more appropriate places.Otherwise, worth the visit.

Camos Restaurant Cahersiveen is right across the road from the Daniel O'Connel church, and is on the main street inviting one and all in for cosy sitting, incredible food, and kind service. Rory does his best to keep his customers satisfied and the food i
Just passing by, made a stop for a quick bite and were not dissapoinyed. Cosy little place, good choice of menu, quick and helpful staff, and of course delicious food. Panfried trout was lovely, nice steak as well. Recommend!

Newly refurbished bar located in the main street of Cahersiveen; food served 12:30pm - 9:30pm daily.
The mussel starter was good and generous. The rib eye steak was fine and the chicken mafta quite good. However, both were accompanied by what the menu called âspicy potato wedgesâ but were in fact not spicy, too greasy chips. The dessert described as âcheesecakeâ was fine but actually a mousse. Serving sizes were mediocre, which along with the rather high price lowered the value. Service was fine.

QC's won the prestigious award of BIM (Irish Fisheries Board) Seafood Restaurant of the Year in 2012. With Head Chef Eddy Gannon the food seems to just get better and our team of wait staff are as committed to making your dining experience as pleasurable
We have already provided a review of Q&Câs boutique hotel (which is excellent), but it would be just wrong to include the restaurant in the same narrative. It deserves a review all of its own. This is a delightful restaurant, the décor is marine themed, but not cluttered (as so many restaurants are). We were able to book a table for two at check-in, and were facilitated with an excellent table in the middle of the restaurant. Two things we wish to highlight. First, the food. The sizzling prawns were literally the best prawns I have ever tasted. The other main was Black Sole (one of the âSpecialsâ) and whilst cooked on the bone, the chef kindly agreed to de-bone it for us. The standard of food is exceptional. Second, the staff - young, energetic, dynamic, polite, courteous, engaging, professional, and effortlessly dealing with a very busy service. Thank you, this was a delightful dining experience.

A quirky converted church with eclectic interiors, serving gourmet pizza and a large selection of wines.
Pizza is a must when we are on holiday and what better way to enjoy it but in the setting of an old church. The menu is great and I must recommend the Hawaii pizza. The only downside are the cobwebs around the place. Whilst I appreciate its anold building, there is no need for cobwebs on low reaching surfaces. Thank you for your kind review. Hope to see you again.

Came here for dinner one evening and were seated quickly. The young waitress was a friendly blond lady who patiently answered our questions about their menu and whiskey in the area. She provided attentive service without hovering. She spared a few minutes to chat with us through the meal, and made us feel welcomed. She told us about the spring well that is inside the restaurant and took us to it to see. The food was quite good. Very well seasoned, prepared, and presented. Service was prompt but not rushed. The atmosphere seemed close, friendly, and very laid-back. People were having discussions, but the noise level was not deafening; you could HAVE a conversation. It felt comfortable, almost like the place belonged to someone we knew personally. This was one of my favorite restaurants on the entire 2-week trip.

We had a wonderful dinner in March. The fish was fresh, you could see the boats that brought it in that day. The burger was big, juicy, and tasty. The service was good too.

Party of 2 came in for lunch, the cafe was half full. and was offered a very small table part way across the entrance which would have barely held two plates. There were several larger tables spare with other parties of 2 occupying them. So I asked if we could have a larger table and was told by a very rude lady that she was saving the tables for groups of 4. At that we left! Very disappointed - very poor customer service - donât seem to want your custom - avoid!

With the ocean's bounty at our doorstep, it comes as no surprise that seafood plays a large part in The Moorings cuisine. We are committed to only using the best quality produce, from the freshest fish and shellfish, to the choicest Irish beef and lamb and
Had a delicious meal here. Main servings are huge, couldn't manage starter and main. Few things could make this place excellent; if ordering muscles, serve bowl for empty shells and bowl wkth hit water and lemon for cleaning fingers. If muscles come with a sauce, perhaps serve bread for dipping and spoon. If water vessel is empty and left at edge of table, refill without being asked. 3 fillets of sea bass probably too much. Extra dish of potatoes and veg served which wasn't touched as we had too much food. Really enjoyed meal overall.

The Bridge Bar at The Moorings, Portmagee is open all year round. Great food served all day with traditional music at weekends. Trips to Skellig Michael can be arranged and packages are available from April to September. Cois Cuain gift shop is open from
We enjoyed an excellent experience at this restaurant. We were a group of eight who went to this restaurant without reservations. Perhaps because it was Sunday, perhaps because it was the first week of September, however the restaurant was not overly busy although there was a crowd. Our waiter was Johnny and he did an excellent job in taking care of all of our needs. Within our group we enjoyed a variety of traditional Irish dishes as well as fish dishes. All of us were happy with their choices. The atmosphere is great Irish decor. An added bonus for us was a group of seven local musicians who came in and played live around 9:30 pm. I rate this as top notch both in meals and ambience. Service was great as well.
