You could easily be mistaken and think this is just some mid-range pizzeria. However, besides good pizzas it has an ingenious menu with high-quality fish and meat dishes. Very creative and recommendable. Good wines as well. Wonderful desserts. A real find!

lovely location with outdoor seating near pool in large garden. Internally tasteful although layout a little odd. Food is a good range of both raw and cooked fish and meat and in my experience always good and sometimes outstanding, I would highly recommend the chateaubriand which is excellent and hard to find these days. A good wine list with very reasonable prices.The owners, husband in kitchen and wife in restaurant are some of the most wonderful hosts I have ever come across.The only negative which is minor is that the waiters could be a little friendlier and quicker but this is nitpicking and it is also comparing service provided by the owner.

There are many more of the little out of the way places in Italy than one would ever find in the USA, especially with such fine dining but after a number of single lane roads getting there just from the Radisson Blu Galzignano Terme, we arrived just as they opened on the day before the start of the Easter holiday weekend. We knew we were early but we had an early flight scheduled out the next day, so we arrived at 7pm and ordered the degustation menu of four courses. But they served what I thought was an amuse bouche first of parmesan, a piece of ham quiche, and green olives; but then that was also followed by some white prosciutto (basically fat) on a small piece of toast. I believe then, the actual 4 course menu started with some salami and regular prosciutto as the appetizer/antipasti, but then there was another dish of purple potatoes with asparagus which was so tasty but we were starting to fill up when we realized that the next dish was the pasta dish/primi platti of ribbon thin tagliatelle of nettles in green with a white meat sauce. Even though we swore to not eat it all to try and save room for the rest, we gobbled this down entirely. The main dish was duck served with a recipe that was over 500 years old but we could only eat half of what was on our plates in order to save a little room for dessert, which was a hazelnut/almond tart with hazelnut ice cream. My goodness, it was all so good and the helpings weren't necessarily American sized portions but there was just too much and all for 50⬠per person. Wow. I had to use my limited Italian and French as the wait staff might have one person fluent in English but that was fine as it added to the entire environment. How better to get out of your comfort zone than to use some guesswork to figure out your next dish? We'll have to go again!

An exquisite restaurant, right at the hills foot. The view is wonderful, the design and furniture choosen accordingly. A small, high quality menu. Nice and professional staff. Very well timed serving. You want to try this place. It's incredibly nice dining on the external terrace during the late summer or in spring.

Nice terrace overlooking the valley. Family run restaurant with good home made pasta dishes. Friendly staff.We had to go inside due to a thunderstorm but the owner was so kind to keep us outside until the last moment.Dear Erwin ,Thank you for your visit! The only problem with this place is that youâll want to taste everything and you canât fit it all! We were a group of 8, adults/kids celebrating my brotherâs bday and I can tell you definite highlights are: oysters (super super fresh!), beef carpaccio with truffles and parmesan and millefoglie cake with dark chocolate sauce..! Pizzas are also excellent although youâd want to try more sophisticated stuff here, itâs so worth it!!

The Trattoria traces back guests to 1609 when Galileo Galilee stayed here, followed by other famous guests. Italian menu with English speaking service.
