You know you're on to a winner when you arrive at a restaurant at 1pm (which opened at noon) to find the place packed with locals. We were not disappointed. Typical French polish, excellent service, attentive and knowledgeable staff who made us immediately comfortable, They even had an English menu (not always the case in France) with a wide variety of dishes and a good wine list. We had three courses each, wine and a few beers and everyone enjoyed the food. 2 3/4 hours later we headed back happy. The restaurant was about 11 km from our Hotel (Marriott Disney) but the excellent local taxi service provided an 8 seat bus for â¬40 return. Another gem we will go back to and in an area where most restaurants are closed Sunday, a great find!

The food is decent, we had the lasagna bolognese and the Pasta Carbonara. Both are good to eat. The place was empty but we were there early at 18.45. The place just opened

We have created a genuine concept answering the criteria of modern customer. We put more emphasis on simple things as good and naturel products, efficient service and friendly atmosphere.
We had high hopes for this restaurant, however the service was incredibly slow. At first we thought it was a European thing, until we saw other tables who came in after us eating while we hadn't received any food yet. We kept getting moved from waiter to waiter which was totally rude and unprofessional. We finally got food after more than an hour and my steak which was to be medium rare was still cold in the middle and completely rare. The side dishes were average and all of our plates were cold. It was aggravating to have to sit for a total of two hours with terrible service for mediocre food. Once it was all said and done, they added a dessert to our tab which was clearly never had. So not only was it terrible service and food, but they tried to charge us more for it. I highly recommend you go to the McDonalds across the way before paying that much money for something you will regret later.Dear JRachel95,I am so sorry to read your bad experience with us. We work hard every single day to give the best to our customers but we failed for you and I am sorry. I am not sure if McDonalds try as hard as we. Regards,Laura.

Excellent brasserie near our family's country home. Regularly attend for special occasions. Friendly staff who always greet us and welcome us back. Traditional French cooking styles with a nod to the modern in some dishes. Large portions. Set menu is good value. One thing I tried last time (in photo) is burrata with vanilla, it was like nothing I've tried before. Creamy yet fresh. Delicious! Recently refurbished interiors have livened up the place. Nice little garden outside to dine when the weather is nice. A trusty reliable find in this area.

We went for dinner after a longer car trip. In the area you can either get fast food or then french cuisine at Le Clos du Chateau. We chose the menue for all three of us. Different sets and we were not disappointed. Friendly staff, even we arrived before the opening at 19.30, fast service and nice dishes. Good value for money and would recommend the place as a very good alternative to the nearby hotel restaurants.

My dad and I are Americans who visited Disneyland Paris in July 2013. We were on a 3 week trip to Europe and loved eating local, authentic cuisine everywhere we went, and we knew we would only find Americanized food while visiting the Disney parks outside of Paris. So, I carefully researched restaurants in the area outside of Disneyland so that we could have a good French meal instead of theme park cuisine. We selected Auberge des Charmettes and I made reservations by email in advance. The owner was very kind answering my questions by email and confirming our reservation. Since it was July we at outside and it was lovely. We had a four course meal, with beautiful appetizers, entrée, cheese and dessert. It was not far at all from Disneyland, about 15 minutesâit was a bit of an adventure trying to follow our French GPS in the rental car but we managed okay and found the restaurant without too much problem. If you visit Disneyland I highly recommend that you visit this restaurant for a quality, authentic meal instead of confining yourself to the typical burgers and fries offered in the park. The staff were also wonderful, they did not speak much English but tried very hard to help and I knew a few key French phrases which helped also. It was a great experience and I would love to return someday!

After a Disneyland Paris visit we were looking for a restaurant on our way return to Paris and finally found "Du cote de chez Alexandra". It was an amazing surprise, the food was great (snails and seafood taste really good) , service excellent and price really reasonable.

Since 1969, l'Aigle d'Or is a family restaurant passed down from generation to generation. At only 15 minutes from Paris, l'Aigle d'Or is now an institution of the French cuisine. In a green setting, enjoy a gastronomic cuisine, combining fresh, exquisite
Not willing to travel to Paris to find a Michelin star restaurant we booked a table at the l'Aigle d'Or for dinner. The site is very nice near a small lake. Both the room, the decoration and the menu are very traditional, so it is definitely not a "hype" place. The food itself was very good and the wine list extensive. The service was very friendly and professional.A very good alternative for Disney visitors who want to spend a good evening without travelling to Paris.Definitely a good surprise in this Paris suburb.

We stopped at this place having searched for restaurants where the locals ate. It was full of French people on their lunch break. We were accommodated easily. Drinks delivered the moment we sat down. I had the salade Gourmand and hubby had salad de chevre. Both were exactly right and delicious. I was very tempted by the dessert but didn't have any. Cold water given, quick friendly service.
