This restaurant is located near the top of a black forest mountain (hill). Great view into the valley. The menu offers a wide selection. The daily lunch sets are reasonably priced. service was excellent.

german gasthof typical decoration, warm and pleasantsufficient carpark space outsidethe service was efficient, polite and friendly but not enthusiasticthe stroganoff beef was good and i was told that the wild boar and the cow tongue good as wellgood beerthe price was reasonablethe choices in the menu were rather short and they took too long to bring the food. for these last two reasons i rank them with an average rating instead of good rating

I've had a warm cup of thea with a very lovely, home made apple pie with wiped cream. Dilicious! Not to sweet tasing, just perfect.

We had a very nice dinner at the Mühle in Gerspach recently. The service was knowledgeable and found the right tone in being communicative but unobtrusive. The kitchen offered several menues which were covering a range of complexitx and cost. We felt welcome and will certainly come again.

this restaurant is not what it appears to be!the service was below average, the food was of the same standard and the prices were above the german average. the french service was a joke, since the waiters did not know, what below the cloche!how can you serve a crispy cordon bleu , steaming under the cloche?just forget about it!

We had a real Italian pizza, nice Calabrese salad, hearty soup. Staff were friendly and efficient and the ambience was very Italian. They were serving a number of local mushroom (seasonal) specials that looked good and it is great to see them working with the local supply. Prices were reasonable and quality was good.

Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich, trotzdem sie nur zu zweit waren, sowie aufmerksam und hat die Ãbersicht. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut. Leider waren die Suppe wie auch die Spätzle nur lauwarm. Die Portionen waren sehr in Ordnung wie auch der Preis (50 Euro für 2 Personen inkl. Wein, ohne Nachspeise).

Invited for a dinner by friend. We did nice 6 km walk from Fröhnd-Hof (we´ve been there for one week holliday) here before and after the dinner. Excellent cuisine, high quaility of food and food presentation. Friendly and interested staff. Definitelly will try to go back again.

From the outside the restaurant does not look incredibly inviting. However the interior does not look like much either. Why go here? Go for the food and the friendly down to earth honest service. This restaurant has a heart and a soul. A good menu everything is cooked from scratch. The staff is extremely well trained. Personal wishes are fulfilled. This time I enjoyed the wild garlic (Bärlauch) maultaschen. Delicious and well made. he wild garlic soup was good perphas a little less salt for my tasting but all together this was really good. Wir wurden sehr lieb empfangen und bis zur letzten Minute verwöhnt. Das Essen war sensationell; ein Gruss aus der Küche, welcher als ein eigener Gang bezeichnet werden könnte sowie ein 4-Gänger, was echt qualitativ nicht zu übertreffen ist und dies für 45 Euro!Gerne empfehlen wir das Restaurant weiter in der Hoffnung, dass auch wir wiederum einen Tisch finden werden. Bis zum nächstenmal.
