Alici fritte our favourite! But the pizzas are really special too. There is a big range of pizzas & at least two -Aristocratica & Raffinata -are cheese free -& very tasty! The menu is extensive, including fish,pizzas, salads,meats & -of course-dolce. Weâve been coming here for some years & Leone & his staff are great! We feel very at home here, thank you. I can add itâs very child friendly. You can sit outside near the pavement or inside -an interesting interior! At weekends in the summer it can become very busy so sometimes thereâs a queue-but always worth the wait!

This is one of the 4 restaurants we had a pleasure to dine at during our stay in Terracina (a small seaside town south of Rome).Il Caminetto is a somewhat posh place, which is visible in the service staff being more reserved than one would expect from an Italian place. They're helpful and polite, yet not openly friendly or outspoken.The restaurant is housed in a nice building near one of main squares of the town and is very nicely decorated. Simple, pleasant coulours, few ornaments, comfortable chairs. The main dining room is big enough to ensure a bit of privacy for the guests.Food is offered from a fixed as well as a "daily" menu. The restaurant also has a pre-defined meal sets clearly targeted at unaware tourists. I strongly advise to avoid these sets, and select your courses from the daily menu. You get the freshest sea food and fish. And you also earn some respect points with the service staff (always a good thing....).We had simple starters (mozarella with ham, tomatoes and rocket salad, our favourite Italian classic) and fish: sole (cooked whole and filetted afterwards for us) and another sea fish, whose name we are unaware. All food was superb! Very well cooked, nicely presented, without any unnecessary extras or side dishes (of course you can have them if you wish). And then there was wine. Il Caminetto is called 'Enoteca', which stands for a 'wine bar'. And as the name suggests, the choice of wines is very satisfying! Prices are reasonable. Our choices, including wine and a desert, cost us exactly the same as the 'tourist menus' would. In all, this place is a highly recommendable one. It checks all the important boxes.

The restaurant is situated in the archeological area of Terracina. Great wine list, fresh sea food dishes with or without pasta, and Roman style pizza. Outdoor seating in an ancient and spectacular Roman atmosphere!

This is probably one of the best restaurant in old Terracina, great food and service. The pasta and seafood was first class and they make a really good spritz. Last but not least, the location is very nice and sitting outdoor as the light fads in the old city is perfect.

The best restaurant in terracina by far because the food has so much flavor ad the workers treat you like family when you are in there. Nothing is more important to them than making the customer happy so in that they only serve the best food while waiting on you hand and foot.

Antica Dogana is a real,authentic pub with an ideal atmosphere and woody decoration.Very warm and pleasant environment.Staff is very polite and the prices are affordable.We had two glasses of lovable sparkle wine.Many thanks for yours nice rewiew, and especially for kindly words about our stuff.See you soon!

A friend recommended this restaurant, and we loved it. We stayed in Terracina overnight on our way back to Rome and had lunch here Beautiful dining room surrounded by lots of beautiful trees, bushes and flowers. The food was excellent as was the wine. White tablecloths gave the dining room a lovely crisp cool feel. Also has outdoor dining.

A friendly greeting from the maître de began a great experience. A complimentary entree with mozzarella, ricotta, tomatoes and basil with olive oil was welcomed and devoured rapidly. The wine list was broad and the beer very cold. Mains included the entrecôte of beef, filet Mignon and grilled bream. My wife had to choose her fish from a selection brought to the table. Tres exclusive!The food was delicious, the service exceptional and the setting, terrific. Do I recommend this restaurant ... si.

We were on our way from Rome to Sorrento and we were looking for a restaurant which is also an amazing experience, we came to this restaurant following recommendations. We were a group of 14 people, we received excellent service, food that is an experience for the mouth and soul, the amazing chef came out to us and explained to us that she prepared the bread with both hands, thanked us for all the Compliments ...We all really enjoyed every second. We ate at St. Patrick one night with a large group. The staff were completely relaxed about separate orders. When we finished we just went to the cash and reported on what we ordered and how many glasses of the wine. SimpleAmazing bruschetta and a reasonably varied menu. The staff spoke good English and the owners were very helpful.We returned a couple of nights later, this time just four of us, and again had well cooked, delicious food. At reasonable (for Italy) prices.Ask to see the wine cellar, it is quite amazing.
