Wandering the streets returning to our our apartment, we were looking for somewhere to eat in the evening. We spotted this place and booked online - were very lucky to get a table and also very lucky to have picked such an excellent restaurant. We chose a 4 course "surprise" menu and every course was excellent, as was the accompanying wine matching.

This was one of the best meals we had while in France. It is a very small place, but the waitress (who appeared to be the owner) was extremely friendly and welcoming. The octopus appetizer was delicious, as was the country terrine. Our plats course was the perfectly cooked chitterling sausage and pork medallion filets. Both were delicious. The sausage was sweet and flavorful and one of the best dishes we had in France. The pork was also very good. We also enjoyed our bottle of Moulin a Vent red wine. We capped off the meal with a fine cheese with raspberry sauce. We had a lovely evening at Café Luna and would highly recommend it.

Refined French-Japanese fusion cuisine in an elegant and tranquil setting. Service was welcoming and unobtrusive, very attentive. We were served 2 amuse-bouches, the first one being a puree of parsnips and the second a smooth gelatin reduction topped with a dice of octopus and ginger. Both were subtle, creamy, and delicious. I had an appetizer of pan-seared foie gras nestled on a bed of slivered cauliflower and baked parmesan chips, drizzled with a blueberry sauce; it was warm, unctuous, and just a hint of sweetness and sourness from the blueberry to cut the richness. This was followed by a roasted slab of sea bass on a bed of pureed broccoli, accompanied with wild rice and mushrooms - delicate and mild, very autumnal. For dessert, I had their pavlova with poached plum slices, pistachios, whipped cream, and plum sorbet - a nicely crisp meringue contrasting with the gently melting sorbet, not overly sweet. Went great with coffee. The dinner menu is somewhat limited in choices, however, and i'm guessing that it's to focus on bringing out the utmost of the flavors and ingredients. It does accomplish this but I would advise those with large appetites to order two entrees (which is not a problem for this establishment) as one will probably not be enough.

My wife and I managed to get a table for the following night ... so reservations are definitely required. The food was superb, as was the recommended wine. The only suggestion I have is for the restaurant to offer a selection of âpotâ of wine as is common in many other restaurants in Lyon. The waiters were also outstanding in their helpfulness, attentiveness and friendliness.

I am a native English speaker and fluent in French in which I've conducted business for 35 years.I could understand neither our trainees English nor his French.Only 2 courses were worth mentioning.Glassware was dirty.I absolutely do NOT recommend this restaurant. Dreadful, dreadfully expensive for value. Stay away until they have trained staff and then don't expect any miracles with the food.

Booked this fabulous restaurant for 8 people. From the very start they were fantastic about answering my emails. The food was amazing. Beautifully presented, tasted wonderful. The wine that they recommended was wonderful too. The service was excellent. Polite yet cheery with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a romantic meal, meal with friends, or just a great place to have wonderful food. When I go back to Lyon as I loved this City I will return to this restaurant.

My husband and I were fortunate enough to book a table at Saisons restaurant for lunch . The whole experience was a delight, from the chateau, to the view of the garden, the wine, very attentive young staff and of course the food. At first we did not want to spoil the creative presentation however the aroma was too inviting . A special lunch that left our tastbuds dancing !

Booking this Bouchon for a special last night in Lyon. We were not disappointed. We chose the âmenu la memoire du goutâ - starter, main and desert. After an enjoyable glass of champagne our chosen entrees of the foils gras with fruit chutney came fairly soon. Wow - delicious, we both muttered. We also both chose the filet de BÅuf which was cooked perfectly to our specifications. The seasonal vegetables accompanying were also perfect, complimenting the beef.My husband had the mixed sorbet and I the strawberry tart - a perfect finish to a wonderful night - oh, and a great bottle of Bordeaux to boot !
