Family run business been going since 1989, fresh mouth watering dishes bursting with flavours. All our ingredients are from local supplier's, if it's a lovely atmosphere along with great food that yourAfter Virgilio 's is for you. Every one is welcome
This is by far the best restaurant we have in the area. Food is always excellent as is the service and ambiance. No matter what night or the week itâs always busy - best to book a table in advance. Excellent choice of gluten free dishes available on the menu , and the owner took his time to explain what I could and couldnât eat. This time we shared the meat on the skewers - simply delicious . They even recommended another good GF restaurant in the area. Already looking forward to coming back soon.

This restaurant is tiny but such a cosy warming atmosphere. You can tell it's family run. The service staff were very friendly. When you go to an Italian you except the typical, spaghetti carbonara, spag bol, pizza etc. Well not here; this was real authentic Italian food, meals you may not have tried before. As a table of four we ordered starters, mains and desserts but also soup, rum cake and a shot of limoncello for free! If you fancy something a little different in a quite relaxing atmosphere, this is the place.

Steak Frites! is a steakhouse that provides a unique dining experience Inspired by the spirit of old Parisian brasseries, we offer a simple menu where diners enjoy JUST ONE DISH: a green salad and walnuts with mustard vinaigrette followed by steak frites
Although this is a steak restaurant there are a couple of very nice vegetarian options. The service is very good and friendly. The steaks are rib eye cooked to how you like your steak. Drinks are reasonably priced. Nice one to try.

Wow what can I say from the minute we went in till we came out it was fantastic, greeted with a smile and shown to our table, drinks order taken, then was advised about specials board, one of our party was a vegetarian, she was told that chef will change anything on menu to her liking, food arrive starters, main meal served with 3 different types of potatoes and vegetables all were piping hot, we then choose deserts, which were absolutely delicious, there is nothing we could fault, we will definitely be back again thank you Village Bistro.

From started to dessert, everything put in front of us was delicious. You could really sense that the chef/s loved their produce and treated it with care. My black pudding starter was delicious. My Welsh lamb off the bone main was exquisite. The trio of puddings (which I shared with my partner because I really 'didn't need' a pudding) were beautiful, especially the creme brulee. The menu isn't vast but that's a good thing. It was still difficult to decide what to order because everything sounded so good. All the staff were lovely, friendly service without being over the top.I hesitate to describe it as Modern Welsh cooking because the chicken skewers my partner had were more Mediterranean than Welsh. Thank you Arwel and Anna for a lovely, lovely meal (and the birthday chocolates). We'll definitely be back.Diolch yn fawr iawn, noson perffaith a bwyd penigamp .Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review of Chandlers Brasserie, it is so very much appreciated & we are delighted you enjoyed your birthday meal with us. The Aberconwy Resort and Spa on the north coast of Wales is a seaside retreat which boasts its very own gourmet restaurant. Signatures is a swanky affair â and its slate walls, vanilla leather chairs and chi-chi chandeliers are the perfect backdrop for re
We had lunch there. The place was nice at the beginning. After many people come in it started to smell too much from the kitchen. The food were the best! Really tasty and good quality and perfect portion. Price was not high at all. But Service was terrible .. we had to wait for everything there were 4 waiters and waitresses but only 2 were working another 2 were ...??

This was our first visit to this superb restaurant. The Sunday Lunch menu was excellent with additional, off menu starters and mains included...there was a great selection of high quality dishes and we were spoiled for choice. The restaurant specialises in fresh fish which we liked...the hake was delicious. The duck breast starter was lovely and a very generous portion. The only problem was the yorkshire pudding had the consistency of cake and was inedible. Otherwise, the beef was excellent. A nice choice of yummy deserts which we shared. Friendly service. Charming small room with a nice ambience. Great value for this quality. Highly Recommended.

I booked a table for three but my husband and son who travelled separately were stuck in a bad traffic so couldnât make it. I was a bit unsure about going in by myself but didnât want to ânot turn upâ or cancel so I went in. And I was so glad I did. The service, the food, the beer we are all out of this world. Food was simple but so delicious. The best I have eaten in many years and I do eat out a lot. The flavour was just stunning. I asked whether it would be possible to order for my husband and son and take it with me. My son and husband could not believe when they came home and there was snitzel and goulash with dumplings and veg waiting for them. There was plenty for a light lunch the next day. All of us loved it. We will all be back!!! Thank you. Absolutely lovely experience.

This place doesnât have much curb appeal but the smell exuding from the place drew us in. Itâs like stepping back in time to the 1980âs, the tired and drab furniture and wood-chip wallpaper was almost masked by cool green lighting. As the saying goes, you canât judge a book by its cover. The food was superb, fresh and well cooked with relatively short wait times considering it was so busy. The accompanying wine menu - of which it also looked about 30 years old was something youâd find in a local cafe, however another book not to judge - the wines were great! Iâm so torn writing this as we had a fab meal delivered by fab staff! Thatâs why you get 4 stars. If I had any feedback for the owners Iâd say - keep doing what youâre doing in the kitchen but (and Iâm not sure they want to be around for long to be honest) invest in the fabric of your dining experience, complacency can kill a business and it will only take a big or new Italian with new and clean lines to take a lions share of your business - that would be a shame!

We popped in for cream tea last week which was excellent - homemade scone with jam and cream went down a treat after a morning of sightseeing.
