The restaurant is located in the historical city centre. From the place is a beautiful view over the square. Nice environment, friendly approach to guests. We cook Czech and foreign cuisine made from fresh, mostly local ingredients. We offer a wide select
Grilled vegetables, vine from South Africa, Apple Strudel, all served with a smile. Welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend this for a casual night out with delicious food. Thank You for your positive rating!
Very friendly staff. Perfect view on main square. Cafe is great and prices are reasonable. Must see and visit this place.

Visiting Tabor, we stopped here for lunch and tried a local specialty â fried carp with mashed potatoes. It looked OK but the fish was a bit too greasy to taste well (never mind the bones for which carp is known). The home style beef consommé with noodles met our expectations. The restaurant's interior is not particularly attractive, but the terrace is fine - also a good place for having a drink. It offers a nice view of Taborâs historic Zizkovo square and its beautiful memorial buildings. The service was all right.

We were driving from Prague to Cesky Krumlov and stopped in Tabor to see the town. This place was recommended by people from Cesky Krumlov and it was outstanding. The started was tomato, cheese and eggplant. Very good. My wife got salmon and it was perfect with the best dill salt ever. I had the chicken wrapped in Parma ham., and a mixed salad. Top it off with beer at the right temp. Our waiter was also the owner and he was helpful and fun. I have no doubt the very traditional Czech food would be just as good.

We visit this restaurant more or less by coincidence, but we were not dissapointed.Stuff was quick and nice, food was really good and beer over the average of typical pubs. Restaurant has nice design so four from five.Problém is that vegetarians should have troubles, due to lack of non-meat food and handicapped persons have no chance to use toilet because this is available only by stairs.

We really enjoyed have lunch here. Food was very good; hot, fresh, and tasty. We particularly enjoyed the garlic soup and the domestic lemonade. Also very interesting setting inside an old historical house. Great murals on the wall showing the square in previous centuries. Staff friendly and spoke English.

Having small tables and being a bit crowded are the only setbacks of this place - I liked the burger (beef was juicy), fries were delicious, pricing was fine, service was good, beers were standard. Prager lemonade is also on beverage menu and worth it. Reservation is recommended for two or more.

Thir wine bar is a unique by its concept of serving natural, biodynamic wines primarily from the Central Europe. Furthermore, we are serving local cheese and specialities from local farmers.
We bumped into this place by total fluke, seeking a light dinner and drinks - we got both. Ended up having several glasses of wine accompanied by homemade pasta, burger and selection of local cheeses and charcuterie. The food was very good, exactly what we wanted. We left the selection of wine up to the "barman/waiter/sommelier" - we were not disappointed. We sampled several excellent local wines (Slovak, Czech, Hungarian and Austrian) and left very happy. The ambience is very laid back, perfect for Friday night "chillaxing". Service didn't feel like 'service' at all - very warm friendly and helpful.

Weâve visited the restaurant during lunchtime on Sunday. We ordered soup ribs broth plus 3 different meals: duck breast, grilled liver and pike perch fillet. The best was fish with lobster sauce, almost perfect combination of flavors and taste. Duck breast - I missed at least main taste, some added value, which is expected from highly rated restaurant. Moreover some pieces were medium and some well done. The third meal was just average grilled liver. Again nothing special and the sauce made from red wine and shallots did not match the rest of the meal. The broth was fine, vety good taste, for someone perhaps not too salty, but for me that was a plus point. At the end....I really donât know whether to recommend this place, I even donât know whether I would visit it again. I expected far more than I got.
