Hi, we came here just to have have hot drink and soup - sauerkraut with sausage. It was well done soup, good quality sausage in it and lot of cabbage.Also other meals looked fairly good.It´s an important hikers point, so it might be also really crowded inside. I hope I am going to add later a review of the whole object (accomodation, service, meals), as I am passionate hiker and planning to overnight here.

If you like sip slowly wine or tap beer accompanied with grilled stuff (prepared just close to your table) - go there. I tested Tyrollean style hot-dog (grilled bratwurst with coleslaw salad). Very friendly staff can help you unwind. Reasonable prices.

We decided to stay at this Koliba for lunch and were surprised how positive atmosphere is here in contrast with hotel Nezabudka, where we spent our family meeting. Food was delicious and servise professional. Thumb up

This small restaurant surrounded by a childrenâs playground and wooden carvings of animals and a large horse, is a good place to stop for a bite to eat after a long hike. Like most of the restaurants we ate at in this town, the menu is heavy on the meats and fries. Lots to choose from, average to high prices, friendly service from English speaking staff. A few picnic tables outside to sit on if the weather is warm.

The best lunch we had in high tatras and dessert were faboules and also had a new brand of beer which was very tasty and mixed with wine.

Had lunch here after we being turned away at the pretentious Kempinski Hotel ! The lake and mountain views are terrific and the food is pretty good. Being right on the lake probably influences the prices, but it is well worth a visit. The Saris "dark" beer is good Guinness substitute !Dear Mrs. WillierGarner,we are very happy that you have enjoyed the food and our restaurant. I hope we will Welcome you again in future.

All what I expected from this restaurant came true. Delicious food, perfect service and good wine. In case you choose half board is also good value. Otherwise is an expensive restaurant.

We were in Hotel Patria with my husband in November 2018 for romantic weekend. In hotel we got the information about Koliba Patria so we went there for dinner. I got fish with potatoes and my husband got steak with chips. Both were delicious. Bonus: waitress recommended us hot Tatra Tee, so we decided to try it and it was great. Sweet, hot and with little alcohol :) thank you for this recommendation :)

Friendly service (the waiters speak good English!), excellent food:the typical halušky were very tasty with two different types of Slovakian cheese, and at a reasonable price compared to the other restaurants in the village. The steak was excellent and so was the Slovakian wine. Highly recommended!
