Reviews on European food in St. Petersburg, Northwestern District, Russia. Frequently referred to as the "Venice of the North," almost every palace and state building in this grand city was constructed by an Italian architect. Saint Petersburg is Russia's most westernized city, with no ancient history, it looks very contemporary - just as it was meant to be when Peter the Great founded it in 1701. Some say that living in this "northern capital" is like living in a museum.

Had a very nice lunch here today. It has a wide menu but many of the dishes are just a variation so itâs not as wide as it looks but it was very good. Lovely service.

The hookah bar LoungeRoom - absolutely new place at the one of the most sign St. Peterburg symbols - Five corners. The panoramic windows coming to Zagorodny Prospect, brick walls, the warm muffled light and, of course, the most tasty hookahs and tobacco f
I donât usually write bad reviews however was particularly disappointed. Heard good things about the shisha so visited. No English food menu and the waiter couldnât explain so we said weâd eat somewhere else and come back. We came back and had some shisha and tea. We were about to order drinks and were told we could not keep our table, due to reservations despite a number of other free tables (see images). While I appreciate reservations, we should have been informed about the timing limit on our table. Can only put it down to being British! Avoid! Hello! It is a pity that we could not leave your table, unfortunately it was already booked earlier. We apologize for not being able to warn you in advance. If possible, we will be glad to see you again and will try to do everything possible to make your stay as comfortable as possible. With respect, administration of the Lounge Room.

The Syrovarnya restaurant for 200 seats is located in the center of St. Petersburg, at Kovensky Lane 5. The restaurant organizes its own cheese production, with the possibility to watch the cheese-making process. The laconic menu is made up of simple and
Weâve visited this restaurant several times. They have fresh bread, selection of house made cheese, served in a cozy atmosphere. I find this restaurant quite expensive, as the food is rather country style, very high quality of products and decoration. Itâs worth visiting, with pre-booking, sometimes it is very crowded. We loved the shop at the entrance and bought cheese a couple of times.Good day! Thank you for your feedback and high rating. We are glad to see that you enjoyed and we will happy to see you again in our restaurant.

We were so happy to experience allSeasons! It truly is an amazing lunch or dinner experience reminiscent of Michelin rated tasting menus in San Francisco or New York but far more reasonable! The food is truly delicious and exceptionally creative - from the tasty mushroom filo in the shape of two cigars in an ashtray (all edible), to the âopenâ ravioli with tuna and caviar, to the rabbit and gnocchi soup, to the langostino with fresh fruit, to the awesome duck, you cannot do wrong on this menu! Seasonal dishes change frequently with the fresh meat and produce markets but the incredible culinary skill seems constant. The caramel dessert and the chocolate truffle buckwheat were also exceptional! Like with other spectacular restaurants, the staff was excellent and the ambiance was first class!Thank you for your feedback, for a detailed story about your visit to our restaurant! We are very glad that we were able to please you with the tastes of seasonal dishes! We will be happy to wait for you in your next visit !

Got here by accident on our last day in st petersburg when we wanted to eat something near sennaya square. The menu was also in english outside so we decided to go. The restaurant was nicely decorated and cosy. The staff spoke very good english and was very friendly. They served breakfast all day and had a good selection of different dishes, but the menu wasn' t too long, there was just enough to choose from. The homemade lemonades were great and fresh and served from big glasses. The mushroom risotto was great, also the fried rice. We also got some veg sticks with hummus to the side, they were freshly prepared as well. All in all everything was very affordable.Thank you very much! Itâs very sad that you came to us only on the last day

Accidentally popped into this Georgian restaurant while meandering in the city. The waiters found a table for us at a busy Friday night even though we did not reserve one. Decor is cozy and service is great. This is the first Georgian meal for us and every dish is amazing. Lamb khinkali is the Central Asian version of xiao long bao with equally juicy filling. The lamb shashlik is crispy outside and tender inside. The homemade wine is also unmissable. Price is very reasonable. In general, Ethnos is an ideal place to sample the Georgian cuisine.
