After a beautiful day hiking on the winter snow trails around Sorenberg, we had a delicious meal at Chäs Stübli, which is now under new management. The decor is classic rustic Swiss with candles and cowbells, warm wooden fittings and historic photos of winter sports in black and white. The lovely staff were very helpful and friendly, and the owner's daughter was able to help with translation. My son said the garlic sauce which accompanied the steak on a hot stone (CHF 41) was the best he had ever eaten. I enjoyed a classic fondue (CHF 27) with my daughter, accompanied by a red wine from Valais. The restaurant also serves excellent local Eichhof beer from Luzern. The desserts were very much drawn in local recipes, with an excellent Willisauer Ringli, a really tasty, cold sweet based on the gingery biscuit from the kanton. My wife enjoyed the light carrot cake. We would 100% come back
Preis/Leistung ausgezeichnet.
I have eaten in the restaurant many times. The food is not bad but there re some several times the waitress shows really bad attitude toward customer.
We went on an outing with our team. Due to traffic we were a little late and apprehensive, whether the Tell Games we booked would go as planned. Anka our host seemingly effortlessly made it work for us, never mind the short time she had to adjust. Brilliant job. The Tell Games were really amusing and challenging, too. The food was very nice, the fries seasoned with herbs were yummy as anything.Very well done!
Our restaurant Bäckerstube can accommodate 45 diners. In addition to our popular pizzas we prepare a fine selection of other dishes for you. The large terrace offers a magnificent view of the Brienzer Rothorn and Schrattenfluh.
We have a lunch at this restaurant while we got up the hill via the traditional steam train from Brienz. The weather was good and there were many tourists up this spot. We have a normal lunch but it was pretty good inside. In fact, some of the people used to sit in the open area to view the beautiful scenery under the sun. Both the food and view were wonderful

Top class all-round views with delightful panoramas viewed from this mountain of mountains. Stand back and revel in views of the famous Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau trio - not forgetting 690 additional summits. Add the shimmering waters of Lake Brienz and yo
We had a pleasant drive to Sörenberg from where we took the gondola to the top and hiked along the well marked trails for a couple of hours down to Eisee and back to the restaurant at the top. The view was just fantastic on this nice sunny day.The terrace at the restaurant was crowded and the restaurant inside busy, but we managed to get a table. The service was very friendly and fast. The menus offering daily 'Tagesteller' specials and the menu has a good selection and prices are reasonable. All in all we enjoyed our lunch at the Gipfel-Restaurant, the highlight was the panoramic view and we even got to see a few 'Steinböck'.

Ate outdoors on the patio. Would rate as excellent but a bit pricey on my budget. But dining in Switzerland generally is. Pork cordon bleu (delicious!) was CHF 35. For one.
