Things to do in Soest
Deshalb maximal 2 Punkte.

We didn't speak German but we wanted to eat something typical for the area. The owner asked another local guest to make suggestions from the menu for us! The food was delicious although the salt content in Germany is more than I am used to. The local wines and beers were delicious. Friendly and helpful with a nice quiet atmosphere. The prices were really reasonable too!

Great restaurant with a nice Beergarden located in the heart of Soest. They have got some veggie dishes on the menue but also a lot veggienisable ones as well. I had pretty good Taleggio stuffed ravioli with pesto. Good food, nice place, I'll come back!

Needing somewhere to eat, we decided to eat here and were not disappointed. We had starters and main and the quality of the food was excellent. The staff are friendly and the price was reasonable. We might try the hotel next time!!
Top 10 German food in Soest, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany

We had reserved a table for a special occasion with some German friends. When we arrived we were led to a beautifully decorated table with a five-armed chandelier, vine-leaves, artfully folded napkins and other decorative touches. The staff was well-trained and showed a genuine, natural friendliness. The food arrived perfectly timed for all seven of us. We all had different meals, but they were all of the highest quality and the presentation was also excellent. As far as presentation is concerned, I think German restaurants in general have come a long way in recent years, and now that Germany has finally caught up to the rest of the world in the smoking issue we had a top-notch dining experience at the Ratskeller St. Georg.

We found this place on our way to visit the city. Among other choices we decided to go for this and it was indeed a very good one. The place is lovely and well decorated. It looks like you're having lunch or dinner in your grandma's house. The service was almost perfect and the food was good with a delicious soup and even more delicious main courses. For lunch you can also have a cheap menu for something more than ten euros per person. We would definitely come back again!!

My partner and I been for drinks several times over the last few months. The location is lovely - right in the middle of the historic city centre. The staff are great, very professional. The restaurant itself is beautiful and well-decorated. I've not been for dinner yet but my partner (who is a chef) has and says the food is amazing, very high quality and really good value for money. I'm looking forward to our next visit.

This was a great take on classic German dishes. Food was beautifully prepared and presented. We were a group of 5 and everyone enjoyed their meal without exception. Staff were super friendly and helpful - even to the uneducated English!! Thank goodness. If you want somewhere that feels a bit special, this is definitely the best place in Soest for that.

The only Soester brewery When the Peace of Westphalia riders after the 30 year war between Munster and Osnabruck were traveling, as the half-timbered building of Renaissance beamed even from a quiet comfort. That has not changed in the last 400 years. Fro
Forget the food just sample the beers, The dark beers are very good for those cold days. Summer is all about the Pils.Mind you the service was a little slow and a massive issue with the wasps, had to move on in the end.Take time to admire the town, very few foreign tourist like ourselves, that is a good thing.
