Located inside the elegant Park House Hotel â a 17th century country house on the outskirts of the market town of Shifnal in Shropshire - Butler's Bar and Restaurant is a tranquil and stylish restaurant serving contemporary bistro-style fare. The traditio
The website says "Dine in our award winning One AA Rosette Butlers Bar & Restaurant". They don't have an AA Rosette. They say "Elegance: Choose from a carefully selected choice of wines and beverages in oak panelled surroundings ." The restaurant is not oak-panelled; it is painted-over embossed wallpaper, in an Easyjet colour. They say "Fine dining in Shropshire". While this is subjective, it certainly isn't fine dining. The chef admitted that my steak pie was bought-in; the menu offers it with chips; the other main course menu choices are burger and chips (three kinds of burger); fish and chips; three steak options; rack of lamb; chicken; sea bass; and vegetarian options. The table staff were willing but completely inexperienced. To be clear: they admitted to me in an email that they don't have the AA rosette; I left this review for 48 hours in case that was an oversight, to give them time to correct their website. The false claim is still there.

We really visited without booking one Saturday lunch time . We all really enjoyed the meal we chose and there was something for everyoneâs dietary requirements! They catered well for children. We did have a voucher so we felt it was exceptional for what we paid and will return.

Restaurant Severn came highly recommended by a family member and certainly did not disappoint. Ideal for that special meal with family/friends or just the two of you. Food is excellent; the dining room is light and airy with the tables not too close together. Wonderful lunch after walking along the Severn.

This was just a hundred metres from our Airbnb but I recommend booking and traveling. Certainly if your anywhere visiting Ironbridge you need to come here. Run by an unpretentious but lovey couple who serve food cooked specifically for you. Iâd read the reviews and was waiting in anticipation of my bread to arrive and wasnât discovered with the soft date bread. I could of eaten the loaf but saved room for the crostini where the mushroom was so intense. The main of Lamb was light on the stomach but rich on taste and the tiny drizzles of mint way beyond any mint sauce Iâve had before. By the time summer pudding arrived my husband had melted into joy. We finished with a choice of whisky and my Irish coffee was served to perfection. If you thought that was all good wait for the candid pink grapefruit!
