Clarisse, ancienne championne martiniquaise de kilometre lance vous accueille avec le sourire et sa bonne humeur, midi et soir, pour vous proposer une cuisine savoyarde notamment une fondue aux cepes qui vaut le detour.
This place gets booked up so be sure to book a few days before you want to eat here. The owners (wife cooks, husband serves tables) are delightful, really friendly and helpful. The food is awesome, we shared a starter of cheese pastries, which were lovely, the had a raceltte for two, which was awesome. A plate full of beautiful potatoes and charcuterie meats (although my partner is pescatarian and they swapped the meat for smoked salmon on request, and a huge wedge of raclette cheese... we barely made a dent in it! It was sooo tasty and we wish we could have finished it. Lovely wine as well, recommended by the owner. All in all a highly recommended restaurant if you are staying in Les Arcs 1800.

Character - tremendous (restaurant and proprietor);Food - thoroughly well prepared with ample portion sizes;Service Quality - impeccable;Wine List - healthy range of fine wines (both Savoyade and other areas)Our youngsters particularly enjoyed the waiter's trick of dipping his finger into the meths, alighting his finger first then lighting the burner under the fondue! We (parents) particularly appreciated the complimentary and voluntary replacement bottle of wine when the first was knocked over quite accidentally by the waiter. [nb. We'd already consumed most of the original]Despite a reservation mix-up between our holiday rep and the restaurant, we were warmly welcomed and comfortably accommodated on one of the restaurant's busiest weekday nights - ie. Esprit chalet hosts' 'night off'. [nb. We were not staying with Esprit, so the restaurant was OUR choice rather than any promotion.]From reviewers who regularly consume fine dining in the UK's main cities, l'Estam would happily be included on our recommended list.

The fondue was great, plenty of bread and cheese for two, added the meat too but this was overkill, nevertheless tasty. Staff are really lovely and speak English for those who don't. I'd recommend this for an evening meal, suggest you book though as it got busy by 7.30 pm. Good wine list and they do a Menu du Jour.

My girlfriend and myself visited L'effet Boeuf and were not let down at all. First of all the customer service was very friendly and created a relaxed environment for all. The recommendations from the front of house were the fillet served in a butter truffle oil and it was one of the best steaks I have had to date. Not only this, the front of house did not rush you and was eager to share his knowledge regarding the food that was being served. Overall, I would highly recommend L'effet Boeuf to anyone who enjoys great food and wine.

Booked Le Genepi for dinner on Christmas Day with my wife and older teenage children, as we had such a lovely meal on a previous visit. Again, the food was excellent and the service attentive and friendly but discrete. We enjoyed a very leisurely and relaxed dinner with ginger bread and olives whilst we decided on mains of a surf and turf dish and a cheese fondu. A taster of desserts was followed by a glass of Genepi. A brilliant end to Christmas Day so much so that we also booked for our end of holiday meal. Helen and the team organised the hot rock that we had requested and a further memorable evening was had at Le Genepi.

In less than 3 seasons Le Sanglier Qui Fume has become one of Les Arcsâ most wanted restaurant, with its exceptionnal environment, its warm and efficient service and its inventive bistrot cuisine. You cannot miss this huge chalet on the edge ofthe slop es
This restaurant is right of the slopes at les Arcs 1600. It offers great views of the slopes. The outside sitting area is lovely ( sun hats are provided) and well situated. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Service is efficient. The burgers are outstanding as is the tartare. The desserts are special as well. It is maybe a bit pricey but the quality more than justifies it. I strongly recommend.

Had a hearty Tartiflette here whilst staying in Bourg for a short ski break. It was everything youâd want - cheesy, potatoey, gooey & about a zillion calories!!! :-) The staff were very pleasant. Recommended.

We were taken to this restaurant by friends who live in the local area. It seemed to us a typical restaurant for the area. Very friendly with charming surroundings - not pretentious or unbelievably over done. We were greeted warmly by the staff (the owners I believe). We chose the set menu which is really good value and with servings just the right size ie not too big. As the restaurant had been very busy at lunchtime, some of the set menu items had sold out (a good sign surely) but the substitutes were really tasty and we were more than happy with them. Just as importantly we had a lovely bottle of Cotes de Rhone which slipped down a treat! Don't expect a restaurant with 'frills' - just really good service, value for money and excellent food.

Were recommended to this restaurant by our chalet hosts who I think knew that the 8 of us would enjoy it. Great Savoyard restaurant with vibrant atmosphere..booking essential! âWhen in Rome...â we opted for their raclette, cheese fondue and braserade. So much food but fantastic quality and all washes down with copious amounts of red and rose wine. The staff were great fun too. Highly recommended.
