Very careful service, good dinner with a heavy hand on salt, relatively good wines and moderately priced. If you are looking for a place for a business dinner, you wonât be disappointed. More attention to vegetarians and vegan options is needed.

We were on a tour and our guide suggested this restaurant for dinner. Many of our group dropped in and all agreed the food was plentiful and delicious. Has a family atmosphere with friendly staff. Totally recommend eating here when in the area. Staff understand english and food allergies which is a huge plus.

We were searching for a nice steak restaurant one night before flying out of Malpensa and found this place. Luckily we did!! It already started with fresh homemade made chips which was promising for the rest. The waiter recommended what was the best cut of steak and it came sizzling on a hot plate shortly! After the great presentation, The next test was the taste! That didn't surely not disappointed. Tasty juicy steak of 600 gr only for me and that all for less than 19,50!! Normally, I don't have any issues with finishes my meat, but this one was even too much and I left one piece. My wife enjoyed her Burger as well and with a few drinks and limoncello, the bill was very friendly! We 'll definitely come back to this joint! Before I forget! The service was impeccable as well.

Before going shopping in the morning my girlfriend and I decided to stop at Scibui for a coffee and a croissant. We had 4 coffees overall: cappuccino, macchiato, espresso and lungo. We decided to also taste a mixed fruit and an almond croissant, and they were extremely tasty, fair priced and pretty big. The bill came for a total of 6.30 euros, which is extremely fair for the quality of both coffee and food they serve. The coffee is from Illy, which according to me is one of the best brands around the world. If you happen to be in Saronno stop by, you will not be disappointed!Thank you for choosing our restaurant for your recent stay in Saronno. We have read your comments about our food and drinks and we greatly appreciate that you took the time to write them, as our guestsâ satisfaction is our main priority.

Ristorante moderno, riapre dopo due anni di trasloco a Milao Marittima con un volto nuovo, più easy e informale, aperto solo a cena per aperitivi, cene e dopocena
I am loath to use superlatives when it comes to restaurants and hotels simply because there is always the possibility that one evening you can enjoy the benefits of of good luck only to be disappointed the next time you visit. I have had to downgrade a few places in the past for that very reason.I will venture a guess saying that La Piazzetta will simply see its fame and appreciation increase as time goes by.The points I noticed were:a not too vast menu with items that all seemed to merit being chosen. This would indicate a preference for quality over quantity. Many Italian restaurants often offer 45 or 50 different dishes.Statistically it would be a challenge to excel with each and every one. Some will be excellent and others so so.So a brief menu is the first point in favor of La Piazzetta.Their staff is clearly well trained and must have had the benefit of good formal schooling.Having received training used to be a must in Italy for hotel and restaurant staff. This is often no longer the case which makes a well run establishment stand out all the more.Their wine selection is varied and covers most of what the country has to offer. The wine list shows for each wine which main grapes have been blended. The is not something that you will find so frequently.I am not interested in studying the composition of each wine, per se, but the fact that I am presented with this information means that "plonk" (a poor quality wine) probably won't be on this menu.I settled for a menu selection composed of an appetizer, a first course, second course and desert. The appetizer was a mini taste of boiled polyp, tomato and eggplant. The first course Carnaroli rice that by itself was worth the trip (20 miles from Milan) and the main course again polyp (octopus) that was so tender it could have melted in your mouth. The deserts were all excellent and making a choice was not at all easy. They also offer a well endowed cheese selection which I will try the next time I wist. You may think that as this is a "slow food" type establishment you will risk leaving the table still hungry. Not so.This restaurant is most certainly worth trying.

Small, cozy, neighborhood restaurant - the perfect place to unwind after a long day at the office. The not-too-extensive menu offers a good selection of pasta, risotto, meat and fish dishes. The 'Mosaico di pesce crudo' appetizer (raw seafood platter) which was super fresh and an instant favourite. The main course of seabass with muscles was presented with a perfect flake, tender muscles and served with a savoury broth. The service was friendly and helpful and the wait staff suggested out-of-the-ordinary wine pairings. Highly recommended and will definitely go back.
