Reviews on European food in Santorini, South Aegean, Greece. Even if you’ve never been to this Cyclades island in the Aegean Sea, you’d still recognize it immediately – candy-colored houses carved into cliffs, sapphire waters, gleaming white buildings topped with half-spheres the color of a stormy sky. Here you’ll find peace as you roam the black sand beaches or the streets of a provincial village like Imerovigli. Beautiful Oia is world famous for its sunsets, which seem tinted with every shade of an artist’s palette.

We had the seasonal tasting menu and flight of wines which was simply delicious. Special mention to the langoustine course that blew us away! There was so many courses and flavours and the service was impeccable. Definitely a must-do if you enjoy fine dining. We booked a front row seat to watch the sunset, then moved inside when it became cooler.

Fino Cocktail Bar & Restaurant is located in the town of Oia, Santorini, where the worldâs most breathtaking sunset can be seen. Known for its delicious Mediterranean cuisine, intriguing signature cocktails and a great selection of high-quality local wine
We received several recommendations for this restaurant. We stayed in Oia for the sunset then went to dinner. There is not a view from the restaurant, but don't let that stop you! Just work around it...watch the sunset then eat...The service was great, the food and wine excellent the ambiance is fantastic. Would definitely recommend it.It's true Kathy S, from our restaurant you may not be a able to enjoy the sunset, as we wanted to attract our diners mainly for our service and not for the natural beauty of the place. We also want all your senses to be focus at our meals and coctails and not at the sun. We hope you enjoyed it. Best,

We had during our 10 day visit to the island breakfast, lunch and dinner here at various times and we could not fault it. All the food was freshly prepared and tasted good. The staff were very friendly. Whether you want a full meal or a snack it is all there and can be finished off with delightful mini waffles with various toppings as a treat.

We went there for my friend's birthday and really enjoyed our night in scala. The food was really good and anesiss who served us was an incredible waiter. He even brought a birthday waffle courtesy of the house for the birthday girl, which by the way was super delicious. I had the hummus octopus which was superb as well. Would definitely go again!Thank you Anesiss!

Beautiful place to enjoy dinner. The grounds are gorgeous and the restaurant is intimate and charming. There were so many amazingly delicious courses including Santorini salad, traditional Greek salad, a trio of dips including beetroot "salad", tzatziki, and eggplant "salad", olives, mushrooms, and a main course of fresh sea bass, mashed root vegetables and steamed broccoli.Unfortunately, the wine was not as good as the food... and the servers did not seem interested in serving much of it. After the wine tasting, the servers poured us one full glass of wine but never came back to ask us if we wanted more.

This is a simple but cosy place, staff are very friendly and takes well care of you.We had a light dinner with grilled shrimps, which was tasty, the restaurant has a great choice of fresh fish.We sat on the edge of waterfront which was very nice in the sunset. It is a bit difficult to reach the old port, cable car is 12⬠each way but there are huge queues when passengers are going to and from the cruise ships, the alternative is to walk climb 600 stairs....

We booked the meal months before our holiday began to ensure we had the best table in the house. We were greeted warmly by the pleasant receptionist and escorted to the dining area. Our table had been reserved and was indeed the best available. The views from the restaurant are amazing. We timed our visit to coincide with the sun setting ... and it was stunningly perfect. The heaters were welcome when the temperature dropped and the lighting was well thought out.The staff were attentive without being intrusive and were all so friendly and professional. The meal was an absolute delight , washed down with a bottle of champagne â¤ï¸ We would highly recommend Fly Away for that special occasion ... or just because your worth it.Dear Grovesy61,Thank you for taking the time to share your experience on TripAdvisor Community! We are so pleased to read that you had an amazing experience with us and you celebrated your 30th anniversary exactly as you dreamed. It is always a blessing to welcome such marvelous guests! Fine dining restaurant FLOGA AND 1800 now united under one management to provide a sensetional gastronomic expireance whith the best sea and volcano view on the island
This is a very small restaurant, I would estimate around 30 person capacity. The first thing we noticed was how attentive the servers were. They checked up on us throughout our meal, refilling drinks and cleaning off our table between courses, and always checking to make sure we enjoyed everything. The menu was a modern take on traditional Greek cuisine. We really enjoyed the mussels appetizer, which was served in a tomato and feta based sauce similar to a mussels saganaki. The difference here was the flair of the dish being served on a flaming dish with a mint jelly on a spoon to pour over the mussels. Absolutely delicious. We also had their bread which tasted fresh and was served with a creamy feta and red pepper dipping sauce which was a great complement to the mussels. We had a spaghetti with prawns and rack of lamb for our main courses. Both of the dishes were plated stylishly and were rich and full of flavor. We had a chocolate souffle for dessert that turned heads at other tables when it was served with a red wine goblet steaming with dry ice that seemed designed to Instagram. We were so pleased with our dinner and the service that we made reservations for the next night as well. Our servers even introduced us to the chef!
