We had dinner here and enjoyed it so much we went back a second evening. They have five or six daily suggestions which are very fresh and well prepared We had the fish both times and were very pleased( you can also order from the menu as well - either a three course plat du jour or a la carte. ). It was a nice mix of locals and tourists. The waitress/ owner can explain the menu in English and is very attentive. Donât skip dessert. Everything we tried was delicious as were the wine selections. ( we always like to drink local). We ate inside as the weather was chilly but on pleasant evenings there are several tables outside. We made a reservation for our second visit on a Saturday evening and Iâm glad we did. The restaurant was full and people without reservations had to be turned away. If youâre in Apt, this is a great place to try

From the moment you enter, you can tell you are in the presence of an artist - everything from the decor to the menus to the food is a creative experience. There are a lot of traditional elements in the cuisine (mostly French, but some pan-Mediterranean), but they are combined and elaborated upon in a quite artistic way. You could tell by the number of specials on the menu that this is a place where every dish is well considered (it was evident that several of the dishes made use of seasonal ingredients that insured produce and meats were very fresh). The cooking and ingredients are all of high quality, My wife and I both ordered a fois gras that was perfectly salted and cooked. Both of our entrees were excellent and the kind waitress was friendly and very helpful in finding something our baby could eat. The establishment was the high-point of our stay in Apt. I would revisit Apt only to return to this restaurant. Merci a la la propriétaire pour votre déterminé penchant artistique!Je n'ai pas tout compris mais j'ai l'impression que vous êtes satisfaits de votre passage à l'intramuros. Merci et peut être á bientot
In May Hans was concentrating on the young cabillaud which were in season and fished near Norway. He served the fish with local asparagus. We started with carpaccio of tuna, followed by Mediterranean fish soup. Grilled cheese in a wrap followed and finally the dessert. As usual the food was accompanied by local rose and red white ad lib. An aperitif and amuse bouches start the evening off well and the current price is 37.5 euros a head including the drinks. The traditional old room which is used for dining has a large stone fireplace with an enclosed fire which has always been lit on my visits, even during summer!

We had heard much about this restaurant high up in the wilderness. The restaurant is very rustic with just a few tables in an old farmhouse. The service was very pleasant but a bit sloppy. The table was not cleaned between the meals and looked quite messy in the end. We had the lunch menue that lacked imagination, all dishes tasted more or less the same with a fishy flavor everywhere. The dessert was the best part but there was too much of it all served at once. Does not measure up to its reputation or perhaps they just had a bad day.

A breath of freshness is guaranteed in the summer time thanks to its privileged location beside the ponds. Below the Domaine you will find a majestic tree that has been adapted to create a unique ambiance for dining, Olivier Massart and his wife Patrizia
The concept is simple, a buffet of typical Provencal tapenade, salads, veggies, and appetizers for 29 Euros (2016). Add a protein entree to the buffet (2 choices) and the price is 42 Euros. The food was very good, but not particularly memorable. However, the setting under the large plane tree, with the beautiful grounds of a posh resort surrounding the dining tables- that is the moment that you take with you. Lavender, cherries, herbs, fountains, and the rolling hills beyond- beautiful! Tables in the sun if it is cool, or under the shade of the tree if you prefer. Oh, and of course, tree house dining for those that seek a different view! Highly recommend.Dear Guest,Thank you so much for your kind comment. This is really important for us.Hope to see you soon at The Domaine.Hospitalty Yours,Eskill

We ended up here having not been able to get a table at La Estrade. Pretty much every table I could see were eating pizza so we followed suit. They are huge thin crust pizza and washed down with a cold beer they hit the spot. Certainly not somewhere to come for a special meal but if you're after a good feed for a reasonable price, crack on! Also great place for watching life go by.

The restaurant is only accessible by car, nicely decorated with friendly and competent service. The menu has nice choices, with emphasis on local specialties. If you don't like goat cheese, ask before ordering, to avoid dissapointment. Very nice wines, good advice from the waitress.

We visited Eric and Liseâs restaurant and were delighted by the fresh, delicious food. Sourced locally and all cooked âin houseâ,something of a rarity in these times. Exceptional views and service. We look forward to returning next year. John et Sally (bbq)Hello Sally and John, we are so pleased that you came by to try the restaurant last week. What a gift to have such lovely neighbours. See you again next year!

A lovely village restaurant in Villars, slightly off the beaten track in Luberon. The clients seem to be regulars and I can understand why. The atmosphere is very homely, the cuisine uncomplicated but using good ingredients. Avoiding complication is a core piece of advice - I chose an enticing starter (mille feuille with shrimps and smoked salmon) which was a bit of a let down compared to the simple but delicious foie gras my better half chose in her infinite wisdom. I made it up though with the beef fillet in mustard sauce (her sea bream was excellent to). Overall, maybe it does not strictly deserve 5 stars but worth to be encouraged and the value is very decent indeed - so try it when you happen to be in the area.
