Hotel Restaurant Le Saint Quay
We had the pleasure of spending our evening for our first wedding anniversary at this delightful restaurant. I can highly recommend it. We had booked from England and were eating on a Sunday evening. We were the only people booked but we were not made to feel rushed in any way. The waiter was attentive without being oppressive and the food was some of the best we have ever eaten. I had the Lingoustine ravioli to start and then the prawns. It was one of the meals that I could have just kept eating. My husband had the fish terrine to start and the filet beef which again was delightful. This was rounded off by the sample plate of local deserts and together with a lovely bottle of champagne we couldn't have asked for more. If you're in the area, give this restaurant a try. If our experience is anything to go by, you won't be disappointed.

Although somewhat expensive for the area this beachside restaurant / cocktail bar offers decent food and generous portions in a very relaxed, adult environment. We ate early evening with our children but the place seems more suited to romantic couples than families, although there are children's options on the menu. Generous portions of ribs with chips at 17 Euros and a good steak and chips at 18 Euros for the adults. A drink, pizza or ham and chips followed by ice cream for the children at 11 Euros. Has a mediterranean ambiance. www.viacosta.fr Tel 02 96 70 79 57Next door is a moules and crepes restaurant with a pirate theme.

We arrived shortly after 7.00 p.m. with no prior reservation but managed to get probably the last table available. The restaurant at the time was quiet but rapidly filled up nearer 8.00 p.m.We both had 'Coquille Binicaise' as a starter which comprised a leak based dish with scallops in a cream sauce with a couple of smoked salmon slices on top. Unfortunately the salmon was burnt and only 2 miniscule scallops were included in my dish.Main courses were 'No. 2 Sole' and 'Chateaubriand Grille' with a shared dish of poor chips and funny little pots of veg with the steak. The main ingredients in both cases were fine. That was followed with a huge 'Ile Flottante' and coffee.Service was friendly but you couldn't help but notice that the staff were almost running to serve customers. Not the calm atmosphere of a well run restaurant. The bill came to Euro 95 and included a half bottle of Brouilly and a glass of white wine.Would we give the restaurant another go? Probably as it is convenient for the marina but would also try elsewhere.

Good spot in the Harbour. Seafood menu is ok, on the pricey side but has to many "bullots" in it and langoustines are too small. Overall ok experience. Staff very friendly.

I have visited this beautiful village many times over the past several years but this time visited a new venue for lunch.Turns out the best " fish and chips" ever.Nice friendly staff in a laid- back atmosphere and quirky surroundings. There's a lively market in the street twice a week as well so combine a great lunch with shopping.

We found this restaurant at a very busy Sunday lunchtime. Well priced, good selection and pleasant female staff. The male staff members seemed a little stressed!!Unusual selection of local beers. We tried an "Uncle" which is a cloudy light beer. Very pleasant flavour, but a little pricey at 3.5 Euros for a small glass. One interesting feature is the option to try 4 craft brews for 6 euros. A nice way to taste a selection without having to drink a full glass if the flavour doesn't suit you.The Galettes we had were probably the thinnest, crispest we have ever had - excellent. There were more than 8 staff working flat out as it was virtually full.Recommended.Thanks for your visit Flantheman! Hope we will share an Uncle beer together soon! See you ! Les Cochons

We visited this restaurant for lunch on a sunny April day so are outside on the terrace which was lovely. We both had the 'menu du jour' which was excellent value and tasty. The goats cheese and local ham starter was delicious. The staff were mainly young and very friendly and efficient . The restaurant was clearly popular and justly so, with a wide range of clientele from couples, to families and those clearly on a business lunch .Would recommend if in the area.

We visited La Tartan three times during our stay in Saint Quay Portrieux, and each time the food was superb! The menu is well priced, the serving size very good and there is a very good wine list. Laura is delightful and makes you feel very welcome, and the ambiance lovely. We would highly recommend La Tartan!
