Small, very traditional restaurant that didn't disappoint. The owner was on her own, spoke great English and made us feel very welcome. We ate very well, the highlight being my apple tarte tartin....light and delicious. Thank you for your advice and we hope you come back when you come again in france.Best regards and have a nice day

The restaurant was built in a former renovated farm building, called Domain Of The Hedge Of Barns! A Zen and very luxurious place right in the middle of the campaign! All the dishes are make house! The restaurant has an attraction, the "Bubble", being abl
Set in a country courtyard of stone built buildings- a lovely setting for dining outside or in. We did both on our two visits.Excellent parking. There is a Pod in the garden for private dining by arrangement- looked fun. The restaurant interior is quite contemporary in contrast to the exterior surrounds. Nice furnishings and quite light though some of the décor items were not to our taste and spoiled the rest. Service was very good and the set course menus choice good as was the a la carte and all at very reasonable prices. The wines were also reasonably priced. Limited selection on the cheese course but fine. Our meals were well cooked, well presented and tasted very good. Would go again when in the area.

Pub-restaurant, you enjoy the mix between nice atmosphere and taste !
We came in a bit early for dinner, the staff was finishing up their formal meal just before opening. I cannot commend their professionalism enough. Everyone was spot on with their service. The restaurant's interior has real ambiance, it's an older restaurant that gives off an air of refinement with its timeless decor.. The old mahogany bar is a work of art. There is an inner patio and courtyard that provides wonderful outdoor dining, especially when the evening is warm like it was tonight. We had drinks before dinner which were very good, and as for dinner - excellent fare. The fish of the day was very nicely prepared cod and the Normandy Burger was cooked perfectly as were the accompanying fries. The price point was very reasonable. We had no room left for dessert which I'm sure would also be wonderful. Highly recommend.

Located within a few minutes of the famous village of Giverny, Les Canisses exudes all the charm of the banks of the River Seine. In the summer months, you can sit on the large patio and relish local produce, to the sound of lapping water. When the high se
The environment around the restaurant is great, very peaceful and relaxing along the Seine river without being disturbed by cars. Service is nice, responsive and efficient, and food is delicious! They also organize many events, especially during the summer. I haven't had the chance to attend to one of them yet so I cannot say how they are.I definitely recommend to go there!

The restaurant was recommended by the owner of the B and B where we were staying and he booked it for us. It's only a small place- no more than 8-10 tables and all were full. You have your table for the night and there is no rush.We chose to eat from the Discovery menu at 39 euros each as this seemed to be good value. All the food was freshly cooked and beautifully presented - we had no reason to complain at all. The waiters were friendly and spoke excellent English and were more than happy to answer any questions that we had, particularly about the extensive cheese board.Try the strawberry souffle - it is to die for!!!The whole meal experience took about 3 hours which is a long time for the English but it meant that each course was not rushed and at the end, I was not too full to walk back.Thank you for your compliments. They deeply touch us. It was a pleasure for us to serve you and give you advices. Sincerely.

Read reviews about this restaurant and was not disappointed. The place looked empty but that is because everyone was seated in the terrace at the back of the restaurant. We had a lovely basic meal (pizza and salad) where everything was fresh. The salad was their basic salad and was superb. The pizza we chose had chicken, potatoes and peppers. We switched out the peppers for mushrooms without a problem. We commented to each other how the toppings actually looked like the food they were supposed to be! The chicken was roasted and placed in torn strips for example and not your usual diced chicken. The pitchet of cider went very well with the meal of course. We would return to this restaurant

We just had sandwiches as part of their lunch special (which included drinks and desserts). Everything was great - the sandwiches are huge! The place is quirky and fun (inside and outside area) - I was so glad I had read about this place on Tripadvisor before our visit!

Pamukkale was recommended to us by the owner of our accommodation. It was easy to find, right near the riverfront, and the menu posted outside was very comprehensive. My husband and I arrived about 6:30 pm, very hungry after a long day of sight-seeing in Giverny. The waitress told us that it would open at 7, so we went for a long walk along the beautiful river and wandered around town for a while. It turns out that on Monday nights, most of the other restaurants in town are closed!Anyway, we returned and selected a Turkish dish to try, and it was fantastic - hot fresh and generous! We chose a Turkish beer to accompany the meal and really enjoyed it as well. There was only one waitress, but she was fast and friendly and happy to take the time to explain the menu items. A terrific experience at a very reasonable price!

Spend a pleasant time in our restaurant in Vernon. Open for lunch from Tuesday to Sunday and evenings from Tuesday to Saturday. Come to discover our kitchen made in ERISAY both traditional and creative. Let yourself be surprised by our living room lounge,
We called in on the off chance of getting a table without a reservation and were made most welcome. The venue is spotless, it's only been open for 3 years, and is becoming established. The Gigot d'agneau was brilliant. You must add this to your listhello, thank you for your opinion and comments from the team of Estampille-by-Erisay. We are very happy to have met your expectations. Looking forward to welcoming you again.

We were only in Vernon/Giverny for a night, but fortunately our hotel booked for us in advance. The room is small and lively, and it fills up fast. Great oysters, lovely mixed salad, eggs with chanterelles, and fantastic lasagna were on our menu. A dinner special offers 3 courses for 21 euros and 4 for 29 euros-plus a glass of good wine! Bargain or not, go because the food is excellent. I couldn't manage dessert, but my husband tried the sorbets and loved them. Service is a bit pressed when the place is full, but we were there to relax and had nowhere else to be.
