His is unique local genuine French restaurant mnged by a Husband and Wife team. The food was outstanding even though the choices are limited. The Frogs Legs were delicious as we're all the plates we chose, I particularly enjoyed my veal. It was a special food experience that we will highly recommend to all. You need to book to be sure of your seat. This is not a noisey tourist overcrowded loud established but a genuine French experience not to be missed.

Stumbled across the restaurant when walking around one evening. Really glad that we did, great food. Set menu which changes weekly, enjoyed a really great bottle of wine too. Chef came out to explain each course, with a unique way to present the dishes. The outside seating area adds to this unique experience. If you are in Montpellier this is well worth a visit one evening.Dear benjg944,Thank you for sharing your Le Lab experience with us here in TripAdvisor! We are pleased to know that you have enjoyed your culinary discovery with us. We were recommended Villa 29 by our excellent hotel, Les Arceaux. It as an excellent recommendation. The restaurant is lovely, the food was tasty, the owners were delightful, the ambiance was relaxing. We strongly recommend that a visit to Montpelier should include a meal at this superb delight.the portions are generous. The 5 tapas make a full meal. The burger with goat cheese is just wonderful.

Because of our schedule we use only one time breakfast and dinner. We are sad that we could not do it more often in our 3 day stay. Real French kitchen and real atmosphere during our stay. Breakfast was all you can want in France. Yogurt in glass... Fresh local fruits and grandma jam... Dinner lasted for several hours but you will enjoy to wait and see what is next.

My boyfriend took me to this restaurant and as son as you walk in, the 2 owners make you feel welcome. The decor is very cosy and fabulous at the same time. The food is to die for, very French and gastronome. I never eat desert but I tempted myself with their specialty - the Tiramisu with berries and speculos biscuit. It was THE best tiramisu I have ever eaten! Anyway, not pricey, very good food, great service, a Must visit in the region!

A deux pas de Montpellier le restaurant Cygory vous accueille dans le cadre âcosyâ dâune authentique brasserie chic. Le chef vous fera découvrir une cuisine soignée aux accents du sud.
Having driven past this restaurant so many times over the last 7 years, we finally ventured in yesterday at lunch time. I was expecting an old fashioned stifled fuddy duddy French atmosphere given its location in the much lauded Montferrier sur Lez. As a 90s victim of too many amateur dramatics awkwardly paired with mediocre cuisine, their dîner-théatre evenings didn't help my overall desire to test it out. Nevertheless, we were pleasantly surprised yesterday to enter this attractive stone-walled old wine building bustling with people on a rainy Monday lunch time. Efficiently seated, we were handed the menu of the day which for 3 courses amounted to 19â¬90. The food was imaginatively put together with good helpings using the freshest of produce. The salmon starter on a timbalé of crunchy rice and fresh diced vegetables was delicious, the plate was laced with a delectable beetroot reduction, For my main course, I had perfectly cooked cod on a creamy risotto with seasonal sautéd vegetables, my companion had the Taureau which he found a little tough, it was served with fondant potatoes and a confit of onion sauce. The waitress brought a portion of cheese to the table that we hadn't ordered, but we accepted anyway and were charged for it.I would go again.

This is well off any tourist beat but handy for the extensive hospitals and businesses in the area. The location is nothing special and there are no views, but the restaurant is nice simple stylish. We sat outside where there are plenty of tables in the shade. The weekly changing menu offers 5 or so choices per course - you can choose 1 to 3.All our starters were well done, my refreshing tartare of salmon and haddock with a decent salad was an example. Main courses such as skate or faux fillet (steak) were let down by overcooked out of season vegetable. My rum baba dessert was a bit one dimensional and lacked interest while a sablé with red fruits was too thick but otherwise went down well.Wines are pricey but good quality, the rosés are all around 20⬠and up. Lunch service was a good pace and staff efficient, friendly and enthusiastic. While I'm hard on the food it's a good par for the price - 21⬠for 3 courses in August 2013.

A delightful little restaurant serving honest, tasty french food with a little bit of style and enthusiasm. Plenty to choose from, and a special platter made up for my vegetarian friend :-) Isabelle and her team work tirelessly to provide the kind of slick service and tasty food that makes you want to return and return.Definitely worth a first and a second visit... (and a third!!)

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner with a variety of dishes and a unique combination of ingredients. The service team is one of a kind; very young and absolutely customer focused. Great Rose-Wine, medium-ok Champagne Overall an unexpected surprise in a wonderful out-door dinner area.. Price-value = A little overprized.

5 Minutes from Montpellier, near the Pic Saint Loup, enjoy a pleasant moment of relaxation in a warm and friendly. You will enjoy a cuisine with Mediterranean accents and our fines wines. With its large landscaped garden, terrace, two indoor heated rooms,
We were staying locally and saw this restaurant reviewed on Trip Advisor. So glad we booked for dinner. From our initial welcome and throughout the meal the service was excellent. The food served was on a par with some Michelin starred restaurants. A small menu with everything cooked to perfection. An amuse bouche of duck to begin and it just got better. Presentation, texture and flavour of food amazing. Will most definitely return when next in area. We thank you very much. It was a pleasure to receive you. We are happy that you spent a good moment with us. Best regards.
