Qualität ist unsere Leidenschaft! Block House steht für eine gesunde, ausgewogene Ernährung & höchste Qualität.
It has been five years since eating at the Bock House in Rostock. It is a German chain, but with a very American approach. Good steaks, baked potato with cream cheese and chives, and garlic toast. Our party had three different steaks and enjoyed them all, the Filet was perhaps have the best value for the money. One member enjoyed a vegetarian option. Not a large selection of beers and service a bit slow, though it was a busy Friday night. Located just off the main square and fountain in Mitte.

My colleague took me to Teepott in Warnemunde for dinner one night; they had a wide variety of food items - however like most restaurants, limited vegan/vegetarian options. I had ordered asparagus soup and a cucumber salad - both excellent; a new potato/asparagus side was very bland. The ambience was the best for me - as it was right by the water - and I had a table that allowed me to look out at the promenade.

Unfortunately we didnât make it for dinner! We got two cocktails and ordered dinner. Cocktails came after 15 min wich is a long time. My whisky sour had the size of half a glass of whiskey and was sweet as f***. Didnât like it at all! After 40 min. they told us that there was a printer problem and our order got lost...We left without dinner.Waiters were very nice though. We didnât have to pay for our drinks wich was very kind. Three stars for that.We wonât give it a try again. Overpriced for sure!

Enjoy the comfortable traditional ambience, the regional and seasonal food of Mecklenburg-West Pomerania, and the art of beer brewing.
Went there on a rainy day in July and had a leisurely late lunch. We sat inside (renovated industrial space) because of the weather, but there was a large outdoor area available which overlooked the harbor. Inside there are massive copper brewing kettles and other decorative items that let you know they are serious about beer and Old World charm. We tried a few different types of beer as well as soup and bread. The service was very good but we appreciated that the server wasn't overly attentive. We enjoyed all the beers we sampled and all the food too.

We found this place while mooching round the older parts of Rostock and we were warmly welcomed by the smashing barman/waiter. You simply must go upstairs and take a photo from the gallery of this pub cum ship..amazing. The place is full of cosy corners all for yourself where you can enjoy a beer and a bite. Very traditional small menu and excellent Rostock beer. Try the dunkel! Loved it.

Visited here while on a day trip with cruise ship. Great food and service overlooking the water in Rostock. Shared the mixed salad with fish pieces, it was lovely. Also had the schnitzel. Good choice of wines. Staff were very friendly and help to choose a wine.

We spent a couple of days in Warnemunde. Found this place on trip advisor and made a reservation. They started us off with a nice gazpacho. We had the fish with butter sauce, the fish with ham and the ox cheek. All were very good. The fish were done perfectly and the flavors complimented each other well. We finished with the raspberry sorbet in lime creme with chocolate crumble. That was outstanding.
Today was the first time we tried Russian food and it was turned out to be a super nice experience! Restaurant owner is very kind and friendly. He gave us some recommendations and those homemade food were very tasty! We definitely will come back when we visit Rostock next time.Thank you very much!
