I was really surprised to find this gem in Menton, which is not exactly known for its great dining and trendy restaurants! I've eaten here twice now and the burgers are out of this world. Very homemade tasting and absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed that the 'French Burger' came on a toasted baguette, with melted cheese on both sides - great touch! Location is nice, in a little side street off the main tourist track and the service was friendly enough (happy to speak English with you). I'm also keen to try the steaks, which a neighbouring table were eating, and look great. A great place to eat tasty food!

Very friendly and a warm welcome as you arrive. The restaurant was quite busy allthough it is not in the most touristy place. The restaurant had an okay atmosphere, but it was quite hectical. We had the beef tartar and one of the today's special, giant prawns and spagetti. The beef tartar portion was huge and the meat tender. It had a little too much roquefort cheese in it, but overall good. The pasta diah was also huge. The pasta was fresh and home made, but the sauce was quite tasteless and the giant prawn was clearly overcooked. Too bad as it could have been so much better. Might be worth a second try, but not quite sure.

On a recent trip from Canada last week, we were visiting with relatives in the area and decided to give this resto a try. We were a party of 6. Seriously folks, this place is a win/win. It's obvious these people love what they do! Each dish was prepared with love & expertise. All of their ingredients are not only market-fresh but equally of the highest standard. In general we are very picky eaters when it comes to quality and service. This place wins hands down as one of the best restaurants we've ever experienced. A beautiful, elegant restaurant with a superb view over the bay of Menton. All in white, including waiter's clothes; a warm welcome by the "Patronne"; the "Menu de dégustation" with 6 dishes from "Amuse bouche" to Chocolate mignardises" was perfect. Great bread, too! The wine-list has ONE white and ONE rosé at 50cl content which is perfect for two persons, less than a full bottle (drinking and driving problem) and more than a half bottle (not enough to last through dinner). A wonderful evening. This place is wonderful, like restaurants you can only dream about. Wonderfully run by one lady all on her own. She deftly deals with all the diners, with charm and friendliness. The food feels lovingly home cooked and with more than half of the restaurant locals who look like they have been coming here for years. You know you are on to a winner. We loved it so much we went back the next night and weren't disappointed.

The place is really lovely the owner and the staff are friendly and the menu is really good a lot of variety and it's good value for money too. I had the beef carpaccio as a starter and it was delicious with a fresh salad sitting in the middle and slices of Parmesan. Son had a pizza and they bought it to him while I had my starter wife had a salad and then we both had a pizza she liked her tuna and I loved my Napoletana. Nice wine by the carafe and a rather tasty grappa at the end. Got a good vibe and there were a lot of people there and quite rightly.

We stayed for 3 days in Roquebrune and stumbled on this lovely restaurant in one of the winding alleys. From phoning to reserve a table till leaving after our meal the whole experience was wonderful. The meal was delicious, the restaurant location interesting and comfortable, and the proprietor friendly but discreet. I thoroughly recommend everyone to visit here
