We chose the â¬35 three course meal with matching wines and were not disappointed. A wide range of local food and enjoyed the narrative around the matching Slovenian wines. Staff were very attentive and our host generous with his time.

We were very happy with service and variety of food on a menu. Food looks and tastes great. Comparing to some other places we have eaten at in Slovenia is a bit overpriced but is definitely worth visiting.

It's really good and quite cheap balkan food, definetly worth going. There is a lot of meat options, but also a few vegetarian if you want. The sevice was fast and good, the terrace is great in the summer, inside is cozy.

The restaurant Grajska gostilnica in the heart of Radovljica is a popular gathering venue, known for its delicious local food and friendly atmosphere. It is led by the experienced chef, Borut SalmiÄ, who has worked in many renowned restaurants in the Gore
We have visited the restaurant with coworkers for the 27. anniversary of our company. Menu is not very rich: four fishes, for steaks and more desserts. We ordered mushroom soup, stufed squids, chicken steak with potatoes and fried vegatables and desserts. All the food was good and lovely aranged. It was prepared fast enough. Waitress was very friendly. The prices were slightly higher than in other restaurants.

Gostilna Kunstelj is a traditional Slovenian restaurant that serves only fresh, local food / mainly grown on our garden. It is a family owned restaurant, opened since 1873! We are served only fresh and seasonal food and indulge in a laid back and relaxed
Quarter of a century ago, my parents in law kept inviting us to this restaurant right on the gate to Radovljica old town square. Traditional, boring food, miserable wines, friendly service, but with a wonderful terrace for the summer days, offering magnificent view of Julian Alps, and Sava river well below. Coming back after so many years, parking lot has not improved, you can easily end up with a bus parked right behind your car, but you can resolve the situation immediately as the restaurant staff knows exactly where the driver sits. Many bus tourists, then, but a far more demanding type than elsewhere near Bled. A quite large institution it is, with many dining rooms (as well as guest rooms), and a very traditional one in cooking and design. Nice and well kept restrooms on men's side; with two or more buses coming for dinner more attention should be paid to female side.Service has gone from friendly and improvised to friendly, efficient and professional. Wine list offering most of what Slovenia has to offer in the low to mid price levels, also some jewels, markups friendly, several interesting wines by glass. Great variety of local juices and brandies. Dishes are still entirely traditional, but well prepared and well presented, from starters to desserts. Ingredients fresh, local and documented. An easy 11+ on a 1-20 scale for the kitchen. Veal liver made the way I remember it from my childhood⦠Very good desserts, especially their author cake.As prices are still surprisingly low for the area and the restaurants's popularity, highly recommended to anyone wishing to discover traditional Slovenian cuisine. You will not leave hungryâ¦

This is an old, traditional restaurant in the heart of Radovljica's old town. It is a charming place in traditional style inside plus it has a nice shady terrace outside with tress and a view of a wooded area in back. The food we had was good traditional food. The service was good, and visitors can see them make traditional gingerbread cookies downstairs. There were a few tourists here but the customers were mostly locals when we ate here.

We went for an early dinner and enjoyed dining on the terrace which had stunning views. We shared Chicken soup which was really flavoursome. Hubby had venison with mushroom sauce which was fantastic and tender. I had spinach gnocchi with smoked trout. The flavours were good but the gnocchi was heavy rather than light and fluffy. Also shared a carafe of excellent house wine. Service was friendly and excellent. The home made onion bread was outstanding! I would dine here again.

We went for a day trip to Bled and stayed 1km from this great restaurant. We had an amazing, tasty and definitely great budget dinner! Service was great, we got a taster from the kitchen which was yummy and the dinner itself was just awesome! Definitely go there!

The a-la-carte restaurant in Via Podvin is run by one of Slovenia's best chefs - Uros Stefelin. Uros finds challenges in discovering forgotten local ingredients, getting to know them and creating new dishes in his own unique way. With modern techniques an
I visited restaurant on the recommendation of several friends and hotel concierges. I visited the restaurant on a day that they where having weeding party.Service was disappointed, it took them over 30 minutes to serve drinks and present the menu. Service flow was better during the meal but became even worst in the end. We waited over 45 minutes to receive our bill. Food was only their daily menu and it was quiet limited. For example only meat option was pork. Food otherwise was designed in the fine dinning way but was very average and nothing special.I was quiet disappointed with the experience.Dear, we usually don't confirm requests during wedding party. We made an exception and tell you in advance there's only one menu option and we can not guarantee a "normal" service. We're sorry your expectations were still hight regarding circumstances. Hope you will come in the future and taste our real story.

We drove back from a car trip with the family and searched for a restaurant in this town. This restaurant was not on the main road, and the back side appeared to be adjacent to a football field. Everything was good here! The terrace is nice and spacey, but due to rain and storm coming up, we went inside. A man was playing accordeon in the room next to us. The restaurant sounded quite noisy, but id din't bother us. Real and friendly service, and a diverse menu with even 6-7 vegetarian dishes. That's quite a lot, I can tell you. And it all tasted good, made of fresh products and the whole family was happy, and prices are friendly. This is definitely a restaurant that's worth its (high) status of 4,5 out of 5, though you would not say so looking at it from the outside after you enter the parking lot.Highy, highly recommended, from the heart!
