The entrées were very good and we were pleasantly surprised how ingeniously the chef put them together. But then we ordered duck breast for the main course. The meat itself was quite hard and the sauce was somewhat bland and sweetish while duck breast requires something more fruity. It was served with TINNED peaches which are sweet, too, so the dish really wasn't good. After the excellent beginning, we were dissapointed.

Very friendly welcome. Fantastic food using local produce. Went for option of pairing ciders with each course which was excellent. Best ciders we have ever tasted. Only regrete was that we did not buy some bottles to take away.Thank you for your rating and nice words. We are very happy that you had a great moment with us.

Looking for a restaurant in Quimper and was recommended by hotel receptionist.Small restaurant in back street in old town but don't let that sway you. Both service and food were excellent and though not cheap was good value. Had steak and chips with fresh veg and really enjoyed the experience. Need to book.

In a very informal and simple atmosphere, the chef/waitress/sommelier is a delightful ambassador for fine food without pretension. Her sauces are delicate and yet distinctive adding much enjoyment to some very good fish filets. With a choice of 9 desserts, it was difficult to make a choice. We opted for the soupe of rhubarb which was delicious and somewhat healthier than some of the other choices-which were no doubt delicious too.If we lived in town, or visited more frequently, I suspect we would be regular clients. Trip Advisor categories are a bit limited. There is Very Good and Excellent. Our lunch was very, very, very good. I'm sure some meals here would be excellent, and we would be happy to keep trying them.In terms of a kind and genuine welcome, great value and overall satisfaction, one couldn't ask for much more.thank you so much, I appriciate very much this writting, thank you for the time you take to tell this!

Friendly staff, casual but well presented restaurant and a good selection of food on the menu. Can't remember what we had, as it was a while ago, but both ordered pasta specials from the board and they were exceptional. Portions were large and we both left full and happy. Was also very good value for money.Would definitely return.

Restaurant de cuisine traditionelle moderne. Situé au coin de la place au beurre, restaurant de charme avec un bon rapport qualité prix.
We came across this restaurant by chance and decided to try it and were not dissapointed. The food was well cooked and fresh with plenty of choice. I got the impression that the choice changes everyday as everything was on a blackboard. The waitresses spoke good English and were able to assist us in making a selection. The pitcher of white wine was particularly good. In our opinion the tables on the first floor are better than the ones where you come in.

We have been there for lunch and it was disappointing. We could not justify the good ratings from other visitors. The location is nice, close to the river, atmosphere ok but nothing special. Both menus we had were only average at best, no highlights at all. The wines below average. Maybe one should go there for dinner, maybe then the restaurant is better.
