Skipper Beach club is simply impressive. Our fifth year in a row and we book âumbrelliâ and sunbeds with Skipper well in advance. Thick mattresses, modern sun parasols and a perfect beach location. Drinks served at the beach or in the bar from morning til midnight. I had six delicious lunches in the Skipper Beach restaurant this year. The Spaghetti vongole is my favourite, but the anchovies and seafood mixes are all delicious. We also had dinner in the âupstairsâ evening restaurant and everywhere the quality is impressive. Paula (and her husband) has everything under control and their professionalism and hard work is worth experiencing over days. Very impressive. High quality, excellent food and full service bar and beach. A complete professional package. Worth every Euro. Want to go back again! Highly recommendable.

I ran there for dinner because my favorite restaurant was not the place. at the beginning of disappointed because I waited 10 minutes for the waitress. finally he came but it was very bad. I thought maybe she has a problem. finally I received the spaghetti with anchovies or clams very quickly, but everything was very hard. I choose no longer there.

We enjoyed the bruschetta served on a wooden board, with 5 types.Caprese (tomatoes, mozzarella and Basil), Bombardona (beans, spicy salami) We had a local beer which was quite nice.The waiter was very friendly and took time to explain everything.

The food was well presented and executed. The portions we generous and of good quality ingredients. The service was friendly and efficient. The pricing honest for the quality of food.We went for dinner. The only critic was the fact that the place was poorly cleaned with spider webs on the railings and cigarette buts on the floor. The same for cleaning the table between meals . A shame for a beautiful place in a modern setting. Such a small correction would improve the restaurant in a romantic setting. They even forgot to light the candles put on the tables! Clearly the management does not follow the kitchen.

Seafood restaurant right on the beach with beach umbrellas service and a beautiful veranda in a picturesque place.The atmosphere is pleasant, with private parking and flower beds, food well above the average of other establishments in the area. Good appetizers (especially the fish mayonnaise), good first courses, well prepared mains (freshly caught fried and grilled fish) as it should be in a "real" restaurant. Excellent service, and very very good drinks and snacks on Saturday night with live music. Highly recommended and a place to return to.

Lovely view of the beach. The food was served very quickly and there was plenty of itGo for the fish dishes, the risotto alla marinara or the spaghetti alla vongole (clams)and the fritto misto. For starters go for the cozze (moules/mussels)Great evening. The local white wine which is super light and mildly fizzy is the perfect accompaniment

It is a good restaurant but it is really hard to find a bad one in Toscana. We have ordered one entree, 1 soup to share and 2 main courses with a glass of wine and a bottle of mineral water. That all resulted around Euro 35. The food was really good and the octopus soup was great. The same about the service - it was on a good level. There is a nice view on the golf fields and the Punta Ala area. It is not easy to reach the restaurant if you have no car: it takes around 10 minutes from Punta Ala by a winding road. What I am sure about is that it is not the best choice for any special event: the interior of the restaurant is too average and looks like a regular place for the breakfast at the hotel. By the way: we came to Punta Ala too late when all the restaurants had closed already till 7 PM. That one was the only one open so it may be the only location for the late lunch in the town.
