If you hate smokers you must go to another place, because smoke is allowed!!!! The place is ok with a smoke ambience. The foo is very good and the lady from staff was amazing, she got our dinner after the kitchen has been closed. (After 22:00)Try the Klassiker Schnitzel with Champignons sauce is a lot of food and very tasty!!

Restaurant Velderhof is out in the country, located in one of those brick-built farmhouse squares that are so typical for the Rhineland area. The restaurant, which is about 20 minutes away from Cologne and Dusseldorf, is open to the public (and also the g
The restaurant is associated to the neighbouring golfclub, but also welcomes "other" guest very friendly. We went there for lunch and spent an amazing time in the sun on the huge terrace overlooking the beautiful golf course scenery. The food was excellent - especially the presentation on the plate. We had a fresh fish from the region, a pork dish with Spanish meat and a very German "Currywurst", probably the best currywurst we've had. Wine offer seems to be good, but we kept to the more traditional drinks. Coffee was also good.thanks for your excellent rating and feedback report. hope to see you again soon :-)

Had a nice meal for Three. Steaks are nice and service is friendly. Not too far to walk from Pulheim rail station.

This restaurant has the same menu as the Fledermaus in Sinthern. It also offers a good selection of international dishes including lamb, interesting salads, seasonal dishes and has a good wine list. In summer you can sit outside in a lovely patio decorated with oleander trees. The service is good, and waiters are friendly. The decor is modern and very inviting. All in all it is very much to be recommended.

We often go here as we live nearby. There is always a selection of the day, including soups, fish and seasonal dishes like asparagus and goose. The food is very tasty, always fresh and the salads in particular, are excellent. The restaurant is a converted barn with wooden beams and is decorated in a rustic style. The decor is welcoming and attractive with an open fire in winter. It is a wine restaurant with an extensive and excellent wine selection. The waiters are friendly and the service is good. We have never been disappointed nor had a bad meal here, so we very much recomend it.

This restaurant offers very interesting menu options, excellent food and very smiley service. We have been here several times, always had a good meal and a very pleasant evening.I have had good scallops and excellent lamb. The decor is attractive, the tables are beautifully laid and the atmosphere is inviting. It is a place to go for a special evening out for two, or with friends.

...in a simple setting. Really good cooking at a very reasonable price. Set menu for lunch is a tenner for two courses and 14,50 for three. A vegetarian option is usually available. Extensive choice of wines by the glass. Friendly staff, guess it´s family run.

First visit to this restaurant and it lived up to all expectations. Excellent food presented and served perfectly. The lamb in particular was delicious and to be recommended. All of our meals were plentiful and cooked to perfection. A comfortable venue with great ambience and friendly attentive staff. This is a restaurant certainly worth a visit.

Some friends live nearby and we went here for breakfast/brunch on a Sunday shortly before noon. The place was packed, however we were able to get a table for four within 10 minutes. Unfortunately they don't take reservations. We had various breakfast orders and everything was delicious. My Brexit breakfast (yes, that was the name on the menue) was grand! Fresh OJ and wonderful coffee. Very friendly and hospitable staff. Great way to end a great weekend in Cologne!
