Find out what European restaurants to try in Positano. Once a vital part of a mighty sea power, Positano is today a sophisticated resort on the central Amalfi Coast. Moorish-style architecture rises up steep slopes that gaze out on the Sirenuse Islands. Smart boutiques, selling fashions for visitors to display on Grand Beach, abound in the village. And it’s a great base for exploring the area—you can easily travel by boat to Capri, Ischia and the Grotta dello Smeraldo cave.

Charming restaurant in the heart of Le Sirenuse Hotel. The restaurant is entirely lit by 450 candles. The cuisine is contemporary Italian, using only the freshest local ingredients. The view is breathtaking as is the impeccable service.
exceptional meal in a beautiful restaurant, great setting and views of Positano.Service was impeccable. Every dish was fantastic, fish was especially good. Great wine list. This is a high-class quality operation--should not miss it while in Positano.Expensive but worth it. Strolling musicians add a nice touch.Thank you so much for your kind review. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your evening with us at La Sponda. Thank you for mentioning our service, food (particularly the fish), wine and our musicians, Franco & Andrea. We hope to welcome you back again one day.

Rada Restaurant (Le Terrazze) stands out among Restaurants Positano, thanks to the refined, romantic and elegant atmosphere that immediately attracts the guests. The furniture studied in detail, with taste and attention to detail, courtesy and excellence
We went to Rada for a wedding reception and 4 days after I visited, I'm still in awe at how amazing it was. We started off for drinks at the beach bar and as you can see from my pictures, the view was sensational. The beer was very, very good, we then went onto the terrace for our meal which was just brilliant; prawn and lemon risotto, fillet of beef and Tiramisu. The waiting staff were very attentive all night and the bar server made a very nice Limoncello Spritz for me at the end of the night. We then went down to the nightclub which was great.I would 100% return to Rada and if you are in Positano, I think you would be silly not to go, even if it is just for a drink at the beach bar!

Must visit in Positano! Went for a late lunch. Amazing pastas, incredible seafood, fabulous steak, great carafe wines and desserts to die for. The staff is great and the owner comes to every table....such a treat! Slightly off the beaten path, but well worth the trip. If you enjoy walking it is a short 15-20 minute walk from the Hotel Villa Franca. You can either take the stairs (shorter) or take the road. Wish we were staying an extra day for I would love to go back again. Food all tastes & looks amazing at very reasonable prices. Highly, highly recommend!!

We came here for a special honeymoon appertivo and dinner. We came to and from via their free shuttle bus, which was a nice touch, to a spectacular property. Appertivo on the terrace was amazing and by far the highlight. The drinks (mine was the peach bellini) were great and the views were STUNNING as the sun was setting on the sea and Positano. We went for our dinner reservation at ZASS and were promptly seated. Service was top notch and everyone was very nice. The sommelier greeted us and helped us with our wine selection. Our table had an amazing view where we could see fireworks from Praiano for San Gennaro. Unfortunately, it all comes down for me with the food. I've eaten at Michelin star restaurants before and the food here was not up to PAR to deserve a star. Although the food was decent, nothing blew our minds. For $450, one would expect a lot. We started with the pizza appetizer- tasty. Then the grilled octopus, the lobster tempura, lemon lobster pasta - all tasty but nothing mind blowing, inventive, or memorable. Lastly, the catch of the day, salt crusted, was under-seasoned needing salt despite being salt crusted- very peculiar. Nothing here was very creative, inventive, surprising, or unique in quality/flavor the way I usual experience at Michelin restaurants... and If one is aiming for simple and traditional instead- make it the BEST there is. Unfortunately, ZASS failed to meet either culinary styles. We recently had the most tender, mind blowing octopus by the beach for a fraction of the price, lobster pasta at a restaurant even more delicious for less.Overall, I hate to rate Zass so low but the value for money here is not great... Especially after we had other amazing meals in Positano that took our breath away. I'm afraid you pay for the ambiance, views, and service here and the food is nothing to write home about. I would say it's worth it to come here fo a beautiful appertivo with views but the food at dinner was not worthy of 1 michelin star.We thank you for openly expressing your experience, Josephine. We take into great account our guests' expectations and your words will be of help when focusing on our goals.

Treated myself to a solo lunch here in late September. Everything was perfect! Not only is the setting beautiful but the food and service is also incredible. My waiter Fernando suggested a meal of burrata, mozzarella and ricotta to start followed by a lobster spaghetti which was a special of the day. Fernando was very knowledgable and helpful so I took him up on his offer. He presented 3 lobsters to me at the table. I chose the blue lobster. He recommended a couple of ways he could serve it to me, for example grilled with vegetables, but I opted for the spaghetti. The food was amazing. The starter came with a bread which was similar to a pizza - it complimented the cheeses perfectly. The lobster was unreal! It was perfectly cooked - it was sweet but meaty. The service was perfect - very steady pace. Both Fernando and his colleague Luca were very friendly. They suggested for me a great glass of white wine to accompany my meal. My table overlooked a sea view of Positano. The restaurant is pricey but not pretentious in any way - very relaxed atmosphere. Worth spending extra - high recommended!Dear woodside27, grazie a million of time for such a beautiful review. I'm so happy that you have spend great time on our terrazza where the view is certainly incredible, but where we also try to offer quality food and the best attention to our Guests.Hopefully, you will be back in town soon; we would be honored welcoming you again to the Adamo ed Eva.Best Regards

The meal and service live up to the hype! Everything about the restaurant is amazing: atmosphere, quality, quantity, and pricing. It is expensive but reasonable! Had an appetizer, pasta course, two entrees, two glasses of wine, a dessert, and two dessert drinks all for less than 150 euro.

If you came to Italy and you are totally over eating real Italian food and being in real Italian places but the nearest McDonalds is in Naples: this place is for you. Average food that you can get at any hipster neighborhood in _______, USA. I had the meatballs with polenta and potatoes and had a hard time finishing it.

Pre planned sit down lunch for 32 Family and Friends. Timely service, beautiful presentation, diverse tasting plate, and a panoramic view to top it off. The kitchen and servers made us feel like it was a family dinner. Will try some of the menu offerings that were flowing out of the kitchen on our next trip.

There are lots of restaurants to choose from in Positano. Most are more expensive than other parts of Italy that we visited. Casa Mele is not inexpensive but it is worth every penny. The food quality is superb, service is excellent, and ambience warm and welcoming (also fun) Casa Mele is a great place for dinner. We ate there twice. Each meal and each course were excellent
