Restaurant located in the historic center of Popayan (two blocks from Parque Caldas) where we offer tasty, healthy and varied food, based on recipes from the tradition of Spanish, Italian, French and Mediterranean cuisine.
We were 4 dinning there. The restaurant is small (4 or 5 tables) and cute. The waitress speaks at least Spanish and English. We took two small tapas (hummus and eggplant caviar) both were tasty. We then took pastas with juices. All of what we ordered was good, and more than enough for our stomach. We paid 92'000 COP for 4 for what we ordered. I definitely recommend to anyone passing by Popayan.

We went to this restaurant in the evening and ordered pizza Nostra and cannelloni Rosetta. The younger waiter was good but the older one was clearly âunder influenceâ. He brought cannelloni up the stairs and than back down, then argued with the younger one, which finally took it from him and brought it to our table. And what to say about cannelloni....it didnât even resemble one, it was a lot of brownish sauce mixed with mushrooms and overcooked traces of pasta underneath. The pizza tasted like it was cooked at home but worse, dough was tasteless. We think that a restaurant that has Italian in his name should do better research into basic principles of Italian cooking. Also it is not acceptable or comfortable for the customer to see its food being tossed around by a drunk member of staff!

The most elegant and very popular among business people of the city restaurant, located in an old colonial house in the heart of the city.On the second floor there is room of the hotel with same nameKitchen with a claim to the French but with a local touch
The style of food is generally old-style French. We went 2 days running. The first eday was excellent. We had the tasting menu at CP 60,000 per person for 2 starters, a palate cleanser (delicious granita), main course, then cheese and then a pudding. The fish was excellent (particularly the tilapia) and the cooking was good. Service was pretty slow. We asked for the wine list and were midway through making a decision when the waiter arrived with bottles of wine and said that we should ignore the list because the wines he brought were the only ones available. We really enjoyed it and went back the following day. The second experience was poor. We ordered trout with prawns as a starter but it came with a heavy calomari sauce (no prawns). They must have decided to replace our order (prawns werenât available the day before) without telling us. It was poor, so we ate the trout and left the heavy sauce and rubbery calomari. But it was doubly unfortunate because the next course (sea bass) came with exactly the same calomari sauce. Bizarre that they hadnât told us in advance.
