We are usually in Rostrenen on a Sunday when it is closed. This time we were in our camper van for the weekend so visited this lovely restaurant. The food was just lovely. Imaginative, beautifully cooked and presented. A lovely welcome and service from the young owner. My husband said the chocolate mousse was the best ever - and he's a self-confessed expert! We thought the menu was good value for the quality of the food.
L'offre est pauvre dans la ville mais cette adresse est superbe. De la restauration simple avec un buffet d'entrées, des choix de plats originaux par rapport à ce type de restaurant, assiette de fromage et choix de desserts maison + boisson et café. Menu à 19â¬. C'est correct. On retient surtout la sympathie du patron qui se plie vraiment en 4 pour vous mettre à l'aise et vous faire plaisir. Il y parvient très bien âï¸. Ce resto est sans alcool car sans alcool la fête est plus folle

Best steak I've eaten in years! Pasta dishes excellent, too. Popular with locals - always a good sign. Menu du jour was â¬11.50 for 3 courses, wine and coffee.

Stopped here for lunch. There was a set meal of the day and al a carte menu. We chose the meal of the day which was a salad followed by tart and fries and coffee. We asked for the starter and main to be served together as we thought they would go well together. We also had a glass of rosé whilst the meal was cooked.The salad was lettuce, red onion, grated carrot, tomatoes, sweet corn and tuna salad. The main was Swiss cheese tart with French fries. These came on a large plate, which they filled. The food was very tasty and well cooked, if there was anything I would have changed the tart had a soggy pastry bottom, probably because of the warming process.All this came to â¬31.Service was friendly and helpful with the waitress helpfully speaking some English.When we arrived there was just one person eating and a couple had left as their table was not fully cleared.This made the restaurant very quiet.En effet la pâte du fromage devient devient humide car le fromage laisse passer quand on le remet en chauffe. ce qui est bon c'est que la pâte est moêleuse et pas croustillante. c'est un autre style. We arrived and did not know food was not generally available on Sundays, however in our village this local was open!The food was well cooked and simple however delicious!We enjoyed a bottle of wine a beautiful meal of filet Mignon and another of pasta. Just the thing for a Sunday night.The staff were so welcoming and spoke English!! It was a night of superb good food and friendliness

We went here after having booked for a group of 4. When we arrived there was a bit of confusion as they thought there was only 2 of us for the booking. There wasn't a problem and they sorted a table for 4 for us. We ate in the restaurant bit of the of the building. Boringly, we all had the fish and chips. What a brilliant choice. It all seemed really fresh and superbly cooked. It was as good as or better than any other fish and chips we'd had. Friendly, pleasant staff too. We'll be making a return visit here.

L'Atelier Bistrot is a wonderful restaurant that should be visited if youre staying in the area or nearby. Food was extremely tasty and service was welcoming and very efficient. Booking is a must though.
