Located in a small and unprepossessing strip mall in suburban Mount Kiara, this is possibly the best Spanish restaurant I have ever been to. They have indoor and outdoor seating, an extensive menu including tapas, various paellas and other Spanish specialities. The cuisine seems to be quite Catalan in origin. I didn't meet the owner/chef but was told he is a Spanish expat.We started with garlic shrimps and Spanish omelette, and wet on to a black rice ham paella and sliced suckling pig with citrus sauce and melon (the daily special). All were excellent and served in sufficiently large portions that we were unable to finish (despite being used to American size portions). The food total was only about RM160.The drink selection is also broad and well-chosen. The long wine list is almost all Spanish and very reasonably priced (for Malaysia). I had a very nice 2012 Rioja (Solar Viejo Reserva) - which the staff were willing and able to decant - for only RM190. They even managed to produce a glass of Cointreau for only RM20. My only (small) complaint is that the beer choice is not as good - nothing for non-lager drinkers - not even a Guinness to break the monotony. They do have a cider.Service was fast, attentive and friendly. The kitchen opens late (22h45 last orders). Overall a great experience.

Great impression when reach the place. Parking is free and take good care by the Jokey. Car park is in house with multiple level inside the building. Receptionist reconfirm our reservation and serve welcome drink( alcohol or non alcohol) . We take the alcohol.Reach to rooftop, environment is great for friends gathering or couple who enjoy their moment here.Food serve in good presentation. Wine is good. Overall we enjoy our dinner here.

We have a couple of times for breakfast. Very good - eggs with spinach are great and the almond croissants delicious.My wife likes the berry granola but complains that the serving is too small.Good coffee and the prices reflect the expensive décor, the French ambience and good food quality

Our 16th wedding anniversary was celebrated here. There are many good things about this place - the creativity in the foods, the tastiness, the very cosy design and the attentive service we received from Maitreâd Faisal was impeccable from reservation to the end of our dinner that night. We did have a great time! The only two constructive comments which I would put in here are 1. The pan fried sea bassâ skin was a tad soft and 2. The restaurant gave us a nice designed writing on our dessert âhappy 16th anniversaryâ. However, the dessert wasnât complimentary. In most of our anniversary years celebrated in other restaurants around the world, we tend to receive a nice surprise from the restaurants we celebrate it. In fact in some, we received complimentary champagne or desserts or sweets. Lastly, I find it odd that the chef came out to greet a table with many ladies celebrating their friendâs birthday, however she didnât feel it important to come ask how we enjoyed ourselves that night. There was perhaps just three tables including ours that night.

Had a great night with delicious foods on 24/10. A cosy & quiet place. It was a birthday celebration. TQ so much for the surprise balloons & complimentary chocolate cake. Compliment to Chef Domenico, Reuben the Venue Manager & fair tall waiter who attended to us. Chef & Reuben came a few times to chat with the patrons. A shared starter with 2 main enough to make 2 of us full. We were the last customers to leave the restaurant. LOL. Dear firdausmerican, Warmest greetings and thank you for dining at Favola! We took part to the Grandmotherâs table on Sunday, friendly big tables like in a family gathering, dishes coming along with delicious burrata, home made pasta and specialties from Puglia. We made reservations as we were a group of 8 and expected a restaurant with such good reviews , would be busy on a weekend. We however ended up as the only customers there. The food was quite good but the portions were very small and would not be sufficient for someone with a big appetite. What was most disappointing was the service. For what you pay in a restaurant like this I would expect impeccable service and not having to deal with someone who looks like they canât wait for you to leave . There was no attempt to engage with us to make recommendation for food or drinks . Only when asked for something would we get a response and not once with even a hint of a smile . Given the experience , I would certainly not recommend this overrated restaurant to anyone . I provided 2 stars because the quality of the food was reasonable otherwise my rating would have been 1 ! It is one of the finest place to stay in Kuala Lumpur.Rooms were very clean,hygenic and well maintained. Customer satisfaction was given the utmost priority.
