The food there was absolutely horrendous! My steak I ordered was grilled on a electric grill instead of a charcoal grill, it had absolutely no taste whatsoever, my wife and kids ordered clams, I'm guessing they forgot to wash them, there was more sand in them then there was on d beach! My wife couldn't even eat them. Didn't stop my 4 and 8 year old though. I can't believe how much we had to pay for that meal, we paid 120 euros.... Oops almost forgot I had 25ml jug of red wine and my wife and kids had 2 bottled waters. We also had 2 expresso coffees! Won't be going back there again and nor will any of my friends, I'm not a tourist, I live close by.

We ended up here by a succession of happy accidents. First off, the restaurant in our hotel (chosen because they are recognised as gluten safe by the AIC (Italian Coeliac Association)) doesn't open at the weekend. Secondly, we turned up early enough to get a table without a reservation. Our meal was one of the best we have had in 10 years of living in Italy. My wife had a tartare of tuna, seasoned with guacamole. I had 2 gluten-rich crostini covered in melted local cheese and black truffle. Our main course was veal fillet, served with another cheese and black truffle sauce, with fondant potatoes. Pudding was great, too (the ice cream is mainly GF).With water, coffee, and a good bottle of Umbrian Sangiovese, a tad under â¬120.A good way to end my 70th birthday!

'59 Restaurant: is not the usual Restaurant, but rather a refined home with '50's charm and glamour, open to guests. In Pesaro, on the seafront. 60 settings, large and comfortable seats, large tables, soft lighting where creative chefs highlight the fresh
We absolutely fell in love with this restaurant during our stay at Hotel Excelsior. The service is warm and friendly, you honestly feel like you've been taken into someone's home and given the 5 star treatment. The wonderful chef visits your table to discuss the food and ensure you are happy (how many restaurants do that in a 5 star hotel). Alberto and the other wonderful staff make you feel at home, explaining the local cuisine and the best way to eat it, as well as marching wines. As we are Australian and don't speak much Italian, this meant so much to us. We enjoyed Sunday lunch with locally. Aight seafood in a divine aromatic broth served in a copper pot. The remaining sauce was returned to the kitchen and had homemade tagliatelle tossed through it as second course. So simple and one of the most delicious meals I've ever had. Stunning views of the Adriactic Sea also await you. Highly recommend. We loved all our meals here!

Visited Mare Mosso after reading Trip Advisor reviews. We were not disappointed. Had a table on the terrace overlooking the sea. Very attentive staff and extensive menu. Food was delicious but portions a bit large for our tastes. House wine more than acceptable and very reasonably priced. Altogether a very enjoyable meal. Well worth a visit.

Occupying a position provolegiata beachfront , along the beautiful Viale Trieste Pesaro , the restaurant Boa Giro is one of the few places in Pesaro able to present its customers with a transversal proposal suitable for all tastes and all budgets . Beside

The restaurant opens at 7pm for dinner, which is just about enough time if you have a performance in Rossini Theatre at 8pm during the Festival. The service is fast and tehq uality of food very good, especially pasta and pizzas.

I always return to this restaurant which has kept over the years under the same management its high quality. Its pizzas are excellent (although I only tried a few out of 100 that they advertise), but the pastas are always excellent and so is the meat, especially veal. It is advisable to book for lunch and dinner: it is close to Teatro Rossini so it is very popular with Rossini Festival audience.
