YACHT CLUB PANAGAKIS - THE PLACE to be seen in Aegina town! Right on the waterfront of Aegina town, this Cafe-Bar-Creperie has the reputation of being the oldest established catering business on the Island. The history goes back over 150 years, when the S
I stepped off the ferry with 3 hungry kids and so straight away headed to the line of restaurants opposite the harbour. The man outside the Yacht Club was pretty assertive as we looked at the menu and we felt a bit pressured into going in. We ordered some food for the kids and whilst it was all ok it was just a bit average. Also before our food had even been provided the waitress asked us to pay as she was about to go off shift and the till needed to be settled before the new shift started. I wasn't really that happy about this but her English wasn't good enough to really be able to argue this and my Greek is non existent. Being in a prime location I think that you end up paying a premium for average food. Walk a few streets back from the harbour though and there is much more variety and a much nicer choice of places to eat. Next time I will wait a few more minutes and find something there.

Nice restaurant/taverna with delicious food and very good service. Among other very good dishes, the swordfish and the octopus were excellent. The best white wine in Agia Marina and one of the best white wines, dry and with a fruity after taste, in general.Very good prices.

Went in here on my own for lunch, got a burger and a large beer and it only cost â¬4.50! This restaurant is not a Greek restaurant however, much more westernized in that they serve fried chicken and hotdogs, not Gyros or Souvlaki. Still a great place to get a cheap meal and drinks! Thank you very much!! Always welcome!!!

We werenât expecting anything but another restaurant on the strip having not been to any of them before. We were pleasantly surprised. Very accommodating attentive quick service. Table of 8. Slightly different menu to your traditional taverna. Good octopus salad burgers pizza and orzo. Good atmosphere. Great ice creams either side!

The restaurant "Kappos Etsi" welcomes you to the site located in the P. Irioti 9 in the center of Aegina, just 100 meters from the port in one of the most picturesque streets of the island. In a stone listed building the owner and chef Dimitris Kappos wai
This restaurant has a nice setting and style. The Greek menu had a few nice variations and the food was pleasant. However running 44 covers with one waitress running around like crazy ruined the whole experience. We love long slow meals but this is another level of waiting. Table after table frustrated and leaving because of this.I would not return.

Tortuga, the one and only Artcafé Winebar in the island. For the past three years, Dario makes sure for a unique italian experience in the heart of Aegina town. Only there, you can taste authentic café napoletano, homemade sweets like tiramisu, as well as
The local wine is fine. Most restaurants and bars sell perfectly acceptable wines but this place sells exceptional wines. The owner is very knowledgeable and doesn't try to bamboozle you into buying stuff but explains the good wine distribution in Greece and its islands. We drank a white from Santorini which was excellent. Food/snacks available and super friendly service. Great coffee too.well worth a visit

Bech front cafe-restaurant in the sandy beach of Marathonas Aegina.
Our server (who I assume was the owner, Panos) was excellent. His service was attentive without being pushy. Unfortunately we had just eaten lunch before getting to the beach, but if we had known his menu was so extensive we would've saved our apetites. For drinks we ordered a mojito, one of the iced espresso-based drinks and a pistachio milkshake. We all enjoyed our choices. Later, we shared an order of fried squid which came fresh, piping hot and very crispy. We spent hours relaxing on the beach, dipping in and out of the water until we had to head back to the port for the ferry to Athens. This experience made us wish we had booked a night in Aegina rather than take a day trip. La Palma is a 7⬠taxi ride away from the main port.We are so happy to hear you had a nice day in our place and that you enjoyed our food and drinks. We also thank you for your kind words about my husband Panos. We are looking forward to seeing you again soon
