This was just down the street from the hotel we were staying at in Perchtoldsdorf. It was amazing! It has a house type feel and you order from a deli case where amazing salads, salamis and cheeses are displayed. We tried a variety of things, including weinerschneitzel (sp?) and were never disappointed. Each time we never paid more than 17 euro for the two of us to eat and have at least one glass of wine each, sometimes more. There is a darling garden area in the back to sit at tables and eat. We loved it!We had planned on trying other wine houses but kept going back to the Weinbau Wolf!

There are many Heuriger to choose from in Perchtoldsdorf but this one has one of the nicest gardens. The food is typical heuriger food and the wines are also the nice local wines. I would always choose a Perchtoldsdorf heuriger over the touristy places in Grinzing. You will see mostly locals here. For those uninitiated, you order drinks at the table and your food from the buffet counter inside. You can either order cold items from the counter (just point if you don't speak German!) or hot dinners that will take a few minutes to prepare. I am an American who lived in Perchtoldsdorf for 5 years so I am a bit biased!

Coincidentally came to this restaurant one evening for dinner. Enough space for many people but makes sense to reserve a table (normally). Friendly staff, fast and professional service. Good kitchen - even offering some "Austrian Standards in a vegan version" - delicious! Definitely a recommendation.

First of all, there are several rooms here so be sure to book if you want to sit in the no-smoking area! The menu is classic Austrian with some specials thrown in for good (?) measure! My husband chose the Tiril liver, which came with bacon, plenty of gravy (he was a happy bunny) and small roast potatoes on the side. Looked and tasted delicious.I opted for the special - smoked leg of venison with rice/risotto. For some reason, I had expected it to be on the bone (yes, I realise now that it would have been a very big one!) and it was not - it also looked extremely dry. No sauce except for the risotto and so I was disappointed as it tasted almost as dry as it looked. Comments were passed back to the chef as this was a new dish and our waiter had not seen it before. Nothing came back from the kitchen.....We were here to watch a jazz performance in the cellar - they have regular events. Will not visit again to eat..

A four-course dinner with a great selection of wines from Weingut Alphart am Muehlbach (Traiskirchen).Choice of smoked Zander or ravioli stuffed with ricotta, washed down with a Spaetrot Rotgipfler.Delicious onion soup followed with a Chardonnay. I don't usually like this wine, but was pleasantly surprised as it was young and not too heavy!Saibling or Beef in Red wine followed - chose the latter with the Pinot Noir - full and with a long aftertaste on the palate.Pudding came with a (too) sweet Rotgipfler Sweet Selection but it was followed by a Rotgipfler Sweet - much nicer! All in all a great evening with very generous wines from Lorenz and great service/food from the team as always. Very reasonable price of â¬60 per person including all the wines...do hope they have more of these!!

Parkplatz in unmittelbarer Nähe vorhanden. Im Sommer netter Gastgarten.

Austrian Heuriger restaurants ae not famous for fish. Usually, they serve pork products, but this is one exception. Besides traditional heuriger buffet, in this restaurant there is nice choice of fish. Mostly river fish, including river crabs but there are also tuna and salmon. Wine is excellent. The interior of the restaurant could be nicer. This is a good alternative to traditional heuriger restaurants for the fish lovers.

Really beautiful restaurant with excellent fresh local cuisine. There's a lovely private room for small gatherings and a beautiful garden. This is a bit far from the center, but it's worth the ride to dine in a true local treasure.
