We stopped bifor lunch on the way grom Monteverde to Manuel Antonio. They use very good olive oil, the dorado with garlic sauce was so good

La Fondua is my favorite new discovery! It feels like a fun outside bistro. Whether it's an afternoon lunch with friends or a cozy dinner, La Fondua will not disappoint. The Belgian chef, Eric, is amazing - a consummate professional, who clearly takes pride in his cooking. All the dishes are cooked to order, so order drinks & small appetizers first if you're hungry!I highly recommend the Escargot starter, amazing! His salads are always fresh with wonderfully creative touches. The fish dishes never disappoint. My Sea Bass was superb. The steak with Béarnaise sauce is excellent. Did I mention, the homemade desserts?! Delicate crepes, mouth-watering chocolate mouse and a divine chocolate tart (Orgasm) will keep you coming back for more. La Fondua offers a wide selection of Belgium beer and good French wines. If you love amazingly fresh food, cooked with sophistication, you will love La Fondua.-- Bon Appétit!

My husband and I came to Costa Rica for our honeymoon. We visited Z Gastro Bar and Z Poolside Bistro multiple times during our 5 day stay. We cannot say enough great things about Marita (Gastro) and Warner (poolside). They do an outstanding job at making you feel like family. One day we took a fishing trip out of the marina and brought fresh Mahi in. Marita took the Mahi and had a delicious meal prepared for us, without direction! We had delicious ceviche and the Mahi prepared 3 ways. If youâre coming to Costa Rica, this has to be a stop during your stay! We will be back.
