Mathias has been serving us for years at Pino. Great sense of humour with just the right amount or sarcasm, love going here for the casual atmosphere, the sophisticated menu and just to have a laugh! Food is great, if you don't like it, something is wrong, you probably are just a miserable person anyway who should not be earring out or writing reviews.

Beeing a Belgian I am always interested in tasting the classic Steak with french fries and believe me - I have tested many restaurants before finding such a good steak experience. For me personally, Victoria is one of the best price/quality steak restaurants I know. They serve the Belgian classics, gotta to try the 'paling in 't groen' (if you are in to eating eel) as an appetizer. The portions are rather large and the size of the steaks are huge! A regular steak has the size of a brick :-)True, the decor, interior is looking like my grandma's place 20 years ago, but it's only adding charm to the restaurant. This is really how the interior of old people in Belgium looks like :-) The staff is super friendly and helpful! The only disadvantage may be the capacity of the restaurant, on busy evenings it's quiet noisy and they do have large families coming over for their weekly diner with the grand parents... If you want to finish in style, order a dessert! The serve pancakes flambé the traditional way, super good Irish coffee and their home made whipped cream is heaven!Don't wanna go home hungry but with a full tummy? Eat a (really) good steak in a Belgian decor? You won't be disappointed

I have had dinner at the hotel several times in the last 10 years. My first impression is that something has changed, the food is now plated in a fine dining way, before it was more home cooking. We enquired and discovered that a new chef from Brussels has taken over the kitchen. Our dishes were mixed quality. The sea bass was sophisticated and delicious. Worth coming back for. The entrecôte was ordered medium rare but arrived cooked through, which is always disappointing. The accompanying fries and salad were good. Highlight of the evening was the Margaux, in this case Lascombes. Worth every cent of the â¬89, especially with the selection of local cheeses, also stunning.

went here for lunch. Nice setting, beautiful, shady and calm terrace. Service was ok. We had the Market menu/ Appetizers OK, starter with lobster was fresh and tasteful (although the lobster isn't cooked on the spot). Mains was a succulent poulet de Bresse. Dessert was correct.

A street from the church in Jezus-Eik to the motorway is lined either side by restaurants. Istas is one of them. Essentially a traditional Belgian café with a street side terrace. The food is uncomplicated but outstanding. The steaks are the best you would find anywhere.Service is friendly but astonishingly fast and efficient, these people proudly work hard. Paper table cloth and no frills but all clean and pleasant. The meals are incredibly good value at â¬17 for steak. They do not take reservations, they don't need to as it's always buzzing.Easy parking in their car-park, you get a jeton at the end of the meal.My favourite restaurant in Belgium, I always make a point of coming here when I am in Belgium.

From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the charming hostess, our evening was really wonderful. The 4 course tasting menu with matching wines was full of flavour and served with explanations and enthusiasm. The setting is modern and streamlined but relaxing and reassuring. The owner then took us back to our hotel in his own car without being asked. Although not an inexpensive evening, it was memorable and will live in the memory.

We travelled to this restaurant, as it was indicated here as being one of the few opened outside standard lunch hours. We arrived at 3pm and we were told that restaurant slightly moved and changed opening hours...so canât judge their food, as we left disappointed and hungry thanks to wrong info.

We visited this place recently to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Parking is easy, and the place is welcoming and friendly, minimalist design but comfortable. We were given a nice small table in a cosy corner. The menu is modern, light and served beautifully presented. We took one of the 4 course set menus and were not disappointed. Well prepared, tasty and fresh. All in all a very nice experience. Would like to go back there.

Wonderful prixe fixe menus - Menu Tradition & Menu Prestige
I spent here with my wife the 18th anniversary of our marriage. The restaurant is very nice, the food offered in the menù at 40 euros each is Excellent. 3 courses of high quality and the dessert. With only 7 euros more we could get half homard per person for the ma in course. We had all fish with the exception of the first course Made of Parma ham and very good melon. The service was made by the very gentle wife of the owner. I will definetively come back with friends. I recommend this very nice restaurant.

Really well done. Nice atmosphere. Very good and quiet service. Menu of 5 services is well balanced with some real tastes and good products (old tomatoes with burrata ice cream, tuna with pickles and smoked soya sauce, lobster with special spice from Brittany, canette very well cooked and strawberries with ibiscus and herbs ice cream). The restaurant deserves its michelin star, no doubt about it. It was a very nice experience and I recommend this place either to discover what is a one star restaurant or if you just want to share some very good food. The style of the food is mostly french, classical but with some good new inspirations. I have been there only once but the chef seems trustful so I would expect no bad surprise from the place. I will go back.
