The Koliba Restaurant is located on the famous path of the pilgrim who leads from Bogetici towards the famous Montenegrin sanctuary, Ostrog monastery. It was built in a recognizable Montenegrin style, according to the model and features of traditional Mon
We recently visited this restaurant and stayed at the motel alongside. The food was-from memory- good and the service attentive. What distinguished the experience was the waiter in the restaurant that helped by taking my wife to a nearby hospital in Niksic after being bitten by a semi??? wild dog that was unfortunately hanging around the hotel. We did not get the name but his assistance was worth more than the quality of the food and we would like to thank him again for his help.
On the menu it says "mushroom and olive". Once we got it, we understood why they didnt use plurals for ingredients. Literally there was only 1 olive and no mushroom at all. Only tomato sauce and onion. Its has a very good location but worst pizza ever... Try local cuisine next to it.

This place has a great selection of Yugoslavian based food choices, from grilled, smoked, to salads. They have a particularly good veal soup and make very good sized portions for your pocket. The only down side to this place is that some of the seating is a bit weird if you are wanting to eat as its more for relaxing while drinking. Their service is good, and they are attentive, and during the summer this place apparently gets very busy due to tourists going to Ostrog Monastery (which is also interesting). Would recommend if you are travelling around through Montenegro.
Stylish, four star categorized enterijer located on the main town square with a rich food and drink offer. The friendly staff and the pleasant ambiance are subordinated to meeting the most demanding guests' wishes.

Arrived late after 7pm after a long drive in thunderstorms across the border from Dubrovnik. Travelling through Montenegro so only stopping 1 night. Nutricia was across our street from our Apartment. We were advised on Nutricia from the apartment owner. We ran across the street in the rain hungry...we were not disappointed. Initially we entered the downstairs bar area thick with smoke but we're quickly ushered to the upstairs restaurant.A very attentive waitress offered us suggestions and we eventuality ate chicken in gorgon zola sauce with side salad. Beef goulash with rice and my daughter had calamari. .. all served with good old fashioned chips and huge basket of fresh bread. Some drinks including red wine and large beers and we left satisfied and full. The bill came to 33euros...the meals were hearty and filling. Not the place to go if your looking for Michelin star kind of food but the consensus from us was it was great for our needs and reasonable. A mention to the waitress for excellent service.
The food they serve is very good, fresh and tasty, and the burgers are as juicy as they come! I order a takeaway once or twice a week, and will certainly reccommend to any travelers going through Niksic.

This was the only restaurant I could find. It was packed with locals. Some were smoking. The food was OK but not great. Little vegetables, no sause and a bit salt. I was hungry and usually eat a lot, but it was twice as much as I could eat. But the atmosphere was interesting with the locals having a good time. The waiter had little English skills and no English menus.

All of us agreed this was the best restaurant we visited during our 5-day trip to Montenegro. You wouldn't guess it, seeing it was nearly deserted at 3pm in October.Waiter understood enough English to explain the menu to us where needed - a rarity in Montenegro. The food arrived quickly enough, which is also uncommon the more you go inland. And it was plenty of food, very good, and at an attractive price. We ordered desserts, which we don't usually do, and the portions were _huge_... We left stuffed and satisfied.Dear . We are proud that your stay in our restaurant has remained in a beautiful memory. Thanks for the comment.
