We came in the afternoon with our 3 kids. The salad with bacon, tomato, and shredded oscypek (mountain sheep cheese) was delicious and beautiful with a nice light herb vinaigrette dressing. The meat stew was hearty with lots of chunks of meat and a couple potatoes. The oscypek appetizer was also delicious and nicely presented - 4 slices of the cheese grilled with a side of cranberry preserves. We sat outside, and the tables are covered with a fun animal trough holding up the shading. There is a little house off the side of the outdoor seating for kids to play in - we brought a couple of our own books, and the kids enjoyed reading them in the âlittle house.âThe service was a little touchy - we had to ask for the bill 3 times before my husband went inside to pay. Still, weâd come again for the food.

WE ARE CLOSED FOR OFF-SEASON. We are small family owned and operated Polish restaurant. We are located in center but on a quite street.
Some of the best food ever!!! I could have eaten 4 more wild boar portions and the sauce was so good I mopped it up with the bread. My wife's trout was excellent also but the best was yet to come. Chocolate soufflé with raspberries and ice cream to die for!! All topped off with the nicest waitress I have seen for sometime who was smiling and pleasant - exactly how they should be (take note Pstrang Gorski in Krupowki whose waitresses only suck sour lemons during their shifts!!). We will be back here at Tuberoza on our next visit to Zakopane

Me and my partner visited the bar after going to kruposki street. Looked alright so we though we would pop in... very chilled at their name suggested. The 2 ladys that were running the place were lovely and made us feel us very welcome. The football was on and they offered a good selection of drinks/cocktails. Everyone was coming in and ordering pizza which made us wonder what all the fuzx was about... therefore we order a jalepeno spicy pizza (extra jalepenos at no extra cost... its the little things that count) the pizza was awesome and very nice.

Eaten here several times over a number of years, never fails to deliver outstanding food.Lovely homemade dishes, service is great and decor charming. A little off the centre of the village, worth a five minute walk though.

Note: this is a review of the Kryjowka Restaurant located in the hotel. We did not stay at the Kraina Smaku hotel itself so will not be commenting the hotel rooms/hotel service. We had heard some good reviews and found some reviews on TripAdvisor, but noticed they were under the hotel listing on TripAdvisor itself, hence our review is solely for the Kryjowka restaurant only.Initially seating was a bit of guess work as no one was there to greet us or show us to a table, so we didn't know if we were supposed to find a table or wait to be shown to one. On asking a waiter nearby we were shown to a table. We were able to get a menu in English which was good as well as a kid's menu for younger guests. The waiter we had spoke English and was very courteous. We waiting for about 20+ minutes for the food to be cooked which was ok. We were served free starters which was fish (salmon) and assorted bread. The bread was very nice, crusty on the outside, soft and tasty on the inside. Actually the best bread I've tasted in Poland to date.I ordered Leg of Lamb, with potato and veg. My son has spaghetti bolognese, and my wife the venison. I have to say it was proabably the best meal I've even had in Poland since coming to the country for the past 16 years. The Lamb was succulent and tasty. My son's kid sized meal was too much for him to finish. More adult sized if you ask me, so we can't complain there. If I had to critisize my meal, it would that there should be a bit more on the plate in terms of veg (maybe one more scoop of veg or potato) but it can be forgiven as the food was so tasty. We ordered desert, and the panna cotta and hot/cold ice cream was very good as well. In terms of price inc a drink each for 4 people came to just over £50 so good value for money considering the quality of the meal.Overall a big thumbs up from me. I'd definitely recommend it to you as worth a visit for good meal. I'll put the initial confusion about seating down the fact as a one off.

I can't say enough about how wonderful this restaurant experience was for us this afternoon. They are so incredibly family friendly, with both an outdoor and indoor play area for children. Service was fast, efficient, lovely. Food was to-die-for! I had a vegetarian orrechiette - AMAZING. Our toddlers had tomato soup which was fresh and flavorful. All of our main dishes were creatively designed and well seasoned. We will absolutely be back.

In the place of the former Polonia printing house, the only one of its kind "Drukarnia Smaku" was created. Chef: Adam Kwil
Ever the skeptic, we were wondering if going to the #1 stop with a pricier menu would proof to be a touristy option/ trap. We were glad we went ahead because truly, this is one of the best meals we had in our life. How long more can this restaurant be kept a Zakopane secret Iâm not sure. One day the Michelin judges will come and bestow them with stars. The mushroom soup special, scallop for starter (BEST), and apple pie dessert were perfect. My partner and I will be talking about this wonderful meal for years to come.Thank You very much for Your opinion and please free to visit us again. Best regards!

Dear Guests we would like inform that from 15.01.2018 entrance with children under 6 years old will no longer be possible . We are so sorry for any problems of which this decision may between but we do it for comfort and safety in our restaurant
Excellent food! We had the pork roast wrapped in parma ham with a risotto and cream mushroom sauce. OMG! Some white wine, and then an incredible dessert finished off a top notch meal at reasonable prices. The wait staff was very friendly and professional. We met a local in a bar who highly recommended this restaurant, and we owe him big time! Don't miss this place!
